Welp. Firstly…I TRIED msging w/ host Rachel days leading up. *Day of with my ETA* I also asked her if there was a Walmart that she rec’d *Along the way* msg’d her several times..Crickets. I found a Walmart, msgd her, still no response- which sucked since there were 2 dif addresses! I of course picked the wrong one 1st, ended up on SOMEONE ELSE’s property👏🏽 Luckily… I wasn’t met w/ a 12 gauge. At this point, I had msg’d Rachel nearly a dozen times.. crickets. I finally found the CORRECT address…Only was certain bc I saw the bell tent- Nobody anywhere. I said f it, n started knocking on doors- Finally, a woman came and I said Hi I’m looking for Rachel…all she said was “ok” 😐Wasn’t a very welcoming greeting..Honestly, I thought I had done something wrong.I asked if I could park a lil closer (being it was just me and my pup) She told me to pull around the property.. Mind you, it’s very dark by now, as I’m SLOWLY.. I hear this awful *CRUNCH* I get out n among TALL weeds are 2 big METAL sprinklers that are now LODGED under/IN my Gladiator. I wait til AM to tell her n ask for help..She said I had to wait til her bf woke up- 2-4pm (it was 10AM) So…my plans i had to go to the State parks n stuff- NOPE. Finally.., around 2:45.. I txt’d her saying please don’t forget about me..A girl helped jack up my truck..but..It was all just..confusing. Unwelcome to say the least- I msg’d days b4 how excited I was to come.. but smh. Also..the tent is in their front yard. Oh! Bathrm -100yds away.

We enjoyed the afternoon on the property cruising around in the paddle boat and our evening was fantastic with the sunset views, bonfire, hot tub and a restful night of sleep in the yurt. Rachel and family could not have been nicer - I hope you enjoy their little piece of paradise as much as we did.

sarah was extremely accommodating n her hospitality was out of this world. me n my best friend had an *amazing* time on the property n we even were given the option to stay in the dome rather than the tent since it was going to be a cold night. will def be coming back!

I loved my experience at Rachel’s place! There is a queen size bed in the yurt that 2 of my friends stayed in & then my husband & I set up a tent right next to it. Super short walk from the yurt to parking which was great because we brought stuff to fry a whole turkey. We all brought our dogs and it was a super chill time. Enjoyed grilling, sitting by the bonfire, & hanging in the hot tub for the night!

I like, my son like, my Labrador dog love , we have a good time. The owners the place is really friendly. Are good for kids and family and are peaceful. The peoples leave in the city is really nice.
If you there go visit the antique shop near the train cross in downtown city. And the coffee place near the gastation. And better the Martin Ranch . All is a good persons I meet in three days me my son and my dogs we loved.

The farmland was beautiful and has a great vibe. The view of the pond was lovely, and you could even feed the fish at the pier. The tent was very spacious and furnished nicely. The hosts were so warm and welcoming to me and my dogs. It was a great treat for them to run around and explore. This is a great place to get away from the city to disconnect. It is so peaceful, quiet, and even quite breezy for a summer night to stargaze. It was safe for a solo camper/glamper like myself that needed some practice on camping skills without hauling all the supplies needed for camping. The new site they are renovating looks awesome! This location is also just down the road from Austin if you wanted to take a quick trip to the city, and there were a couple good bbq places down 290 as well. I would definitely love to visit again.

Excellent welcome by everyone, very friendly hosts and a great place to kick back for a few days. The accommodation is very comfortable in a very peaceful and picturesque setting. Highly recommended.

Honestly, so amazing. I took my partner of 9 years here for her birthday. We are long distance and we were able to truly get away and enjoy a beautiful getaway. The yurt was fabulous and comfortable. The jacuzzi is awesome. The property owners are so kind and are there however you need (or not if you don’t want them to be). ALSO, there is the most beautiful vineyard 2 miles away. I highly recommend and we will be coming back:)

Waking up to the pond view, easy to use grill and hot plates, decent sized fridge, salt water jacuzzi, temp control in the tent and a comfy bed?! Need I say more? Everyone was very hospitable and the tent was clean upon arrival. Maybe not for some, but I didn’t mind the walk to the shared bathroom at all. Nothing beats coffee on the patio in the morning! I also HIGHLY recommend visiting Rising Sun Vineyard down the street while you’re here. Overall, a great place to relax and enjoy the Texas country.

My boyfriend and I stayed in their glamping tent, and it was an amazing time! The tent was comfortable and even included a fridge, heating, and A/C. The spa was lovely under the starry night sky, and all of the fun “homestead” experiences made it even better that expected. We will definitely be coming back!

Lovely stay at Rachel’s! I was accidentally booked into an already booked tent but Rachel was super accommodating, she ended up offering us the coolest school bus to stay at… I’d definitely go back. Everyone was super friendly, the tents and bus sit on a huge property that’s perfect for a walk in to watch the sunset. The property is far enough in the outskirts of the city for dark clear skies to stargaze. It was nice waking up to the sounds of nature. There is WiFi on site, a shared restroom/ shower and hot tub! Definitely check this place out(: you won’t regret it

Our stay at Rachel's yurt was perfect. The yurt was equipped with heaters and a refrigerator, and was spacious and well furnished. Our late arrival was easily accommodated and we were taken care of at every turn. Highly recommended!

Its a beautiful place to visit, sunsets and sunrises are amazing. They have all the eminities you need. Jacuzzi in cold weather feels great. I would love to comeback here.

Rachel's campsite was a lovely, peaceful getaway. We love camping, but struggle to find time. This was the perfect distance from Austin and we didn't have to worry about getting in late since the tent, etc is fully set up. Lots of thoughtful touches and great amenities.

We loved my first Glamping experience!
The tent had everything you may need - honestly it had way more than I expected, it had AC!. All the people there were extremely nice, the bathroom is less than 1 minute walking, it is shared, but kept very clean.
We got to see the chickens around and Franklin, the cat, kept coming to visit us (I loved him!).
The sunset from there is truly beautiful. There's a winery not too far surrounded by a field with cows.
It was the perfect staycation and connection with nature.

It was overall nice experience. It was full moon when we stayed there, so the moon was reflecting on the pond and the view was beautiful. Just one thing was the restroom/ shower was like a 2 mins walk. And it was a shared, so I wasnt quite okay with it. Didn't realize it at the time of booking.

Loved staying here! The tents were awesome and the views and amenities were fantastic. The jacuzzi was a fun touch and very relaxing underneath the Texas stars. Will definitely come back!

You can’t beat the sunrise and sunset from the tent here! I would be happy to wake up there every day! Rachel and everyone at this place were so welcoming and kind. The tent is in a shared space and everyone was very welcoming and kind to my three curious adventures running around wanting to explore everything! We enjoyed the salt water hot tub and my kiddos loved being invited to help feed the animals. We would definitely return. It was rejuvenating and inspiring.
