-Self Check-In, just pull into to your reserved site!- (No entrance allowed onto property without pre-paid reservation) We are a brand new tent, RV/Campervan/Car boondocking (no hookups) campsite located in a beautiful country setting, while still having fast and easy access on and off Highway 60/I-27. Perfect home base for your Palo Duro Canyon State Park vacation or while visiting the nearby cities of Canyon, Amarillo or Hereford, TX that are just minutes away. It's also great for a convenient, overnight stay en route to your ultimate destination. Private camping toilet is provided inside of a small building and conveniently close to the outdoor water spigot. Free high-speed Wi-Fi in common areas and dog park are also included. Large (32 ft X 24ft) tent sites with picnic tables, in the designated campsites, provide plenty of room for even the largest tent(s) and camping equipment. Our back-in RV, Campervan/Car parking sites with picnic tables are 40 ft long to allow parking without having to disconnect most tow vehicles. At this time, there are no electricity, water or sewer hookups at the individual campsites. Camping at the Banner Country Hideaway will offer you breathtaking sunrises, spectacular sunsets and amazing, open sky stargazing that the Panhandle of Texas is known for!

Site D is a 40 foot long, 16 ft wide, back-in space for RV/Campervan/Car boondocking (no water, electricity or sewage hookups). There is plenty of room to back into the site, or pull straight forward as needed. High Speed Wi-Fi is accessible inside of your unit and the entrance to the dog park is close by. If you need to dump your holding tanks and/or fill up with water during or after your stay, please contact us to send a link to pay the $10 fee to dump/fill at our sister campground located 2 miles around the corner from this property.

Very tidy camping area. We camped at the dispersed camping area. We found a spot that had nice short grass and not lumpy. The toilet hut was clean. The directions and signage were very easy to follow.

Great spot for my VW Bus the camp out while in town. Nice view to wake up to in the morning. Great wifi. Great spots. Nothing fancy easy going. Toilet is a camp toilet with bag just FYI. But we had our own Composting toilet so no worries. Definitely worth the stop

Great little spot for a quick overnight on a cross-country trip. Arrived in rain, so we were able to use their gravel pad. The owner even had a double reservation at another site if it didn't work for us. Restroom was clean. Dog park was awesome. We appreciated their quick comms and exceptionally well maintained site.

Great campsite for a road trip!

We stayed at this campsite on a long road trip. It was perfect for the night. We were the only guests, so it was peaceful and quiet. Campsite provided portable water spigots, a bathroom with indoor plumbing (with hand soap!), and a leash-free dog area. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone needing a campsite for a road trip.

Overall great facilities but the issue where the loud train horns 24 7. We had booked two nights in tents but left after one night due to the trains.

I loved car camping here! It was beautiful and very easy to find and navigate. We woke up to 4 beautiful horses standing near the fence line in the morning mist, it was so magical. On top of that, we accidentally left a pair of boots when we left and they were so kind and got them back to us super quickly!

Our plans changed a bit so we didn't end up staying the night. Definitely a workable place to stay overnight, but it was a bit smaller than expected.

Perfect place for a couple of nights stay while traveling through Texas. Beautifully surrounded by horse ranches and a heard of goat (everything is fenced off from the dispersed camping site so no animals will be in your camp area).
