Our inspiration for Back Forty RV Park comes from our Dad, JT Lindsey. J.T. and wife Lucille bought these 40 acres of land in 1972, moved their family into the farm house desperately needing attention, and raised their three children here. JT worked his entire life in agriculture as a farmer and cattle rancher. He was smart, hard working, and very mechanically inclined-he could fix anything! He was a veteran of the Korean War. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, Nascar, and a good cup of coffee, but he loved his family the most. Summer vacation was RVing in Colorado, New Mexico, Tennessee, Alabama, South Dakota and Florida but only after harvest was done and the fields were plowed! Daddy was taken from us way too soon, but his love and affection for his family has remained with us through the years. His image appears in our signs and logos taken from our favorite photo. It’s our hope you feel like you are coming back home at Back Forty RV Park. Back Forty RV Park is a local owned park located in Quanah, Tx. Conveniently on US Hwy 287 between Amarillo and Dallas/Fort Worth. Our rural Texas location has wide open skies, amazing sunsets and beautiful sunrises. We offer a quiet, clean and friendly park for an overnight visit or long term resident who is working in the area. Park sits on 40 acres and includes 40 gravel pads, 12 pull thru and 28 back-ins.

We did it right with our Premium Pull Thru! Each RV spot has full hookups and is spacious. Premium Pull Through is 85 feet and allows enough room for pulling rig or vehicle in tow. All sites have a clear view of our gorgeous night sky. Our park has dedicated fiber to supply our park WiFi.

Disappointed. Small campsites. No trees, near the freeway. Not really hipcamp material in my opinion. Bathrooms were very dirty. I actually never got the code for the bathroom I had to ask another camper for it. Quite a few long term people it seems, there for work. Muddy camping area. Don't recommend if you want a nice view or any privacy. Fine for a pit stop place to just sleep. If I could post pictures I would.

Just stayed for a night but it was easy to get to and get parked on a 35ft TT. And the bathrooms were very nice and clean! Would stay again!
