We had a fantastic time at Site 19. Julie was a wonderful host, and the spot was perfect for our SUV camping with an 18-month-old and a 6-year-old. The site was spacious, well-maintained, and peaceful making it ideal for our family’s one-night stay. The kids had so much fun, and we all loved the natural surroundings. There is also a pond within walking distance. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly camping experience!

Nice place to camp over the weekend to get out of the Houston heat. I’ll definitely start again when I work in Houston next.

Site 17
Accesible from Houston but still far enough that you no longer hear traffic. Well-maintained without being over-groomed. Site 17 was spacious and felt mostly private, there is a hiking trail that passes through it. Beautiful property.

Where do I begin. Ms. Julie is a great host. I was able to call on her anytime for help. Site 22 was private. Hiking trail confused me a rad bit, but was beautiful. The sky looked like the Toy Story movie. Very Beautiful. Camp grounds are clean, peaceful & serene. Will definitely be back. I was nervous to get in boat but my partner assured me, everything was ok & I did it. We had a wonderful time!

Site 19, contending favorite
We loved camping on this land. We had privacy, felt free to explore, and the hosts were accommodating. Joee's eggs are the perfect camp protein. So grateful for the access to farm eggs. Site 19 is a great spot with sunrise views of the lake and lots of space to spread out. Great trees for hammocks at this spot and plenty of shade from both morning and afternoon sun. Note that this spot is furthest away from the bathroom and running water if that matters to you. We would highly recommend this camp spot to anyone traveling through Navasota or the Houston area.

I LOVED this property! I stayed in site 22. Was feeling ambitious and decided to spend the night in HOT September. Even with the heat I truly enjoyed being there. Site was very private, very wooded. Julie was an excellent host! The best part about this ranch is that they seem to actually put forth a lot of effort into maintaining this campground. It’s not just land with a few clearings carved out and that’s it. It felt very intentional and inviting which I appreciate. They’ve definitely earned their high rating on Hipcamp.
