Site 6 - 5D Ranch
Good Experience.
Beautiful and huge site.
I could reach a bathroom by 5 minutes walking.
The bathroom is cleaned up well so I felt really good.
If I had to say hard thing, there are a lot of insects in night! HAHA
In other words, we can go camping in natural.
I would like to use the site and campground again.

Site 14 - 5D Ranch
Peaceful is definitely the operative word!! I know it’s used a lot in other reviews and now I see why. Relaxing is another word to describe these open spaces and quiet campsites. Friendly and helpful sum up our charming host!

Site 19 - 5D Ranch
After failing to make a weekend reservation at a local state park in time for the holiday weekend, I turned to hipcamp. I found several options in the area, but 5D really stood out to me. What a gem--5D is everything the busy state parks aren't. The sites are so spacious. We had neighbors, but there campground is spaced out enough that it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Some of the other highlights for us were the lake/rowboats, a variety of camp settings(my kids ranked all the sites in order of their preference), a conveniently located outhouse, a flushing toilet/shower, lots of trails to explore, and access to deadwood for fires. Needless to say, we will begin crossing my kids' favorite sites of the list. Can't wait to try them all. Thank you Julie, for coming to my rescue and hosting us at the last minute. It was a rare opportunity to take an adventure with just the kids and I, and I will cherish the memory forever.

Site 4 - 5W RANCH
Just what we needed
We had a wonderful stay at this location. Our campsite was very private and well maintained. Our interactions with the owners were highly positive. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a secluded location.
