Welcome to 5D Ranch in Navasota, TX. We’re located 60 miles North of Houston and just 2.5 hours from Austin. We have over 14 miles of trails, 2 fishing ponds, 4 boats that are free to use, and great views of the night sky. With 24 unique campsites, we’re sure to have one that fits your needs! We also can provide rentals of camping essentials, a S'mores package and we offer a meet the ponies session that can be scheduled upon your arrival. We can’t wait to host you! Don't forget to ask us about our farm fresh eggs!

Site 19 is very secluded. Great for the Jeep campers with the fully contained tents or just the folks that want total privacy. Its a great spot for small or very large groups. Lots of trees and has a big open area. Lots of options for setting up your camp. Multiple table/spools and fire ring are available. This site is also very close to the large lake. This site will accommodate an RV however contact me before booking to verify if your RV will fit.

Site 10 is a very private and spacious site. You will be totally surrounded by dense woods. The lane back to the campsite off the main trail is at least 200 yards. This site is not suitable for an RV due to the narrow lane: it could get scratched by the trees; however, a very small pop-up type campers will be fine as long as the driver knows how to back and turn around a trailer. Site 11 is Extremely secluded and long. This site will really make you feel like your in the deep woods. Keep in mind this site is dense woods so you wont get any breeze but will be warm in the winter months. If you want privacy however this is the site for you. The only people you might see are hikers or horse back riders coming down the trail in front of your site. Yet the way its designed you don't have to see anyone. A fire ring and spool/tables is provided. No RVs except very small pop up size trailers. You must be able to back in or out.

You will definitely get that long way from the world feeling here and still just a short walk to the restroom. This site will NOT accommodate any RV. While the site is very roomy. This site will also accommodate a large group however only 3 cars are allowed to park at site. All other cars will have to park about 40 yards away. This site has a fire ring, a fire pit and 1 large and 4 small table/spools. NO RVS.

I love campsite 11 and the trails. They’re so easy to walk we were literally barefoot most of the way. It was a rejuvenating outdoor experience and we’ll definitely be back.

We found site 19 to be large enough to move a 33’ RV around and secluded enough to enjoy our outdoor stay. The hosts were great and the site was clean and well maintained. We felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay. The trail system is well marked and offers nature at its intended dose. This truly is a relaxing experience. We appreciate the hospitality.

Our family loved the tent camping at 5D ranch. We are planning another trip again. We enjoyed the fishing pond. The site provided life jackets and small boats with paddles. Plenty of space to get away and enjoy the weekend together.

We had a great time at this wonderful property, lots and lots of wooded property to explore. The hosts were excellent and the bathroom, shower and water refill station was only about 150 yards from site 22. We really enjoyed watching the gofers digging their holes, it was great entertainment for us and our dachshund! We even got to meet the ranch dog, he was super friendly and was just looking for a drink of water. We will definitely be back! Thank you for opening your property to all of us that seek to be outdoors, it seems to be getting harder and harder to find places to go. Keep up the great work and scratch that pup behind his ears for us!

This is our family's 3rd time back because we love it so much. The land is beautiful with wide open spaces and thick forest too. The hiking is really great and there are a lot of trails with the ability to hike a long distance or a short walk depending on what you want. Julie is a gracious and kind host and makes everything easy. The kids loved the boats, and each kid was able to catch a fish. Book this place with confidence, you will have a great time just relaxing and recharging.

I chose Site 9 and felt very secluded. I had forgotten firewood but didn't have any issues with finding enough deadfall to burn for the weekend. The site was very well maintained and my son and I loved the trails. Once it got dark, we fell asleep to coyote calls and crickets. This was our second time to 5D and I don't see us going anywhere else for a quick weekend get away!

Friendly & helpful hosts! Family of 5. Site 24 was secluded and spacious. We fished, took the paddle boats out on the big pond and enjoyed meeting the horses! Beautiful property, quiet and large! We can’t wait to go back!! We chose not to drive my SUV back to the site because the driving trail had several branches hanging at the time.

The first thing you'll notice about the 5D Ranch is the QUIET. It's far enough from city life that the sound of nature is all you hear, aside from the occasional train horn in the distance. The lake is a beautiful place to fish, paddle a Jon boat, or just enjoy the view. And the pond is its own level of peaceful, though less accessible. Having the restroom and water hose was nice backup to the otherwise primitive camping experience. And the roaming friendly dog was the hit for my boys! 10/10!

I was there to celebrate the Gotcha Day anniversary of my pandemic rescue, and my sister came along to help celebrate. We stayed at site #19, which was closest to the pond, nicely shaded, and really spacious. We had a really nice, relaxed time at the campsite and at the pond, very chill. Both days we had the whole pond to ourselves, paddling around with my dog! We also got to hang out with the resident dog, Quigley, who stayed with us at our campsite and camped out with us the entire weekend. I tried hiking a bit of the Red/Pink Trail, but the outer loop was overgrown and had no shade, so definitely stick to the shaded parts, which were better maintained and easier to walk through.

We had such a wonderful experience at 5D Ranch & Camping! My boys and I were hosted this past weekend, and we absolutely loved the property and the campsites. The atmosphere was peaceful and family-friendly, with plenty of space to relax and explore. We especially enjoyed fishing together and walking the beautiful trails that wind through the property—it gave us a chance to slow down and really enjoy nature. The campsites were well kept, and the entire ranch had a welcoming feel. I’m grateful for the hospitality and highly recommend 5D Ranch & Camping to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and family-friendly getaway. We’ll definitely be back!
