Roper encouraged his family of sixth-generation Texans to share the beauty of this extraordinary place with others; and so it was love of this man and love of the land that inspired 4R Ranch Vineyards & Winery. Chinquapin oaks, white-tailed deer, the endangered black-capped vireo, and the occasional Rio Grande turkey inhabit this incredible property. Powered by sun, earth and wind, 4R Ranch Vineyards & Winery calls us all to slow our pace, enjoy the view, and sip a glass of wine in the magnificent Red River Valley.

Beautiful overnight getaway
Wine tasting in the evening was a pleasant experience followed by campfire cooking and great memories! Beautiful area! Appreciated the sulfur sock, no bug bites :)

Great spot. Free firewood was nice. We were the only ones there, the hilly area is very beautiful and the view from the tasting room is surprisingly expansive for Texas.

We had the best time! I believe 15 is the best spot! It’s surrounded by trees with a lot of shade and very private!! I would bring a table but other than that everything was perfect!! We will definitely be back!

We love camping here. It is so peaceful, clean and well maintained. Amenities are great. This was our second time camping here and both times we were just what we hoped for. Campers around us were all friendly and respectful of each other

4R VIP Top-O'-the-Ridge Campsite
Great location and view. This site is mostly private with no other campers since this is the only spot. Also the tasting room bathroom is available to use if they are open. I will say there is little shade on the site it self so you may want to brin your own on hot days.
