Tri Mountain View Campground is located in the Northeast corner of Tennessee in the town of Shady Valley. With an elevation of 2,800 feet, Shady Valley is the second highest town in Tennessee. It is just 26 miles from the Bristol Raceway and the Bristol Caverns. It is just a 15 minute drive to Backbone rock and a short drive to the Appalachian Trail. The property was a Dairy Farm and went out of business in the late 90’s and since then there has been over 3,000 trees planted. Some of these trees include the rare Butternut and Hazelnut, but mostly White Pine, Walnut and Oaks. The property has approximately 1,000 feet of fishing on Beaver dam creek, so we recommend bringing waders. There is also a shower house, washer and dryer. https://trimountainview.com/ trimountainview.com

Camper Stay !
This was an amazing experience we’ve stayed at this sight several times before but this was our first time in the Camper and we were blown away the camper is in amazing shape and there’s tons of amenities including ac which was important for my two younger girls. I would recommend for any family 4-6 people that don’t want to worry about the set up and break down for a real Camping Vacation.

Beautiful views, wonderful set up, and an ideal place for hammock camping. We were comfortable, and well taken care of, and plan to return for sure.

We had a great time tent camping here, the view was breathtaking! Highly recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful grove of trees to camp under with surrounding mountains and farmland below in the valley.

Million Dollar View
The view from this HipCamp is absolutely spectacular. A million dollar view! I felt so fortunate to be able to stay there and only wish it could have been for longer. The grounds are impeccably kept. Our camp site was completely in the shade with an unobstructed view of the mountains. The first night we were there, only one other site was being used. The second night there were two. The other campers were quiet and nice. There were two toilet and shower rooms but we didn’t notice the second one until day 2. There was also a washer and dryer in that same little building. Up the street is a Dollar General where you can buy most anything you need. One of the favorite parts of our stay was the fire fly show. The field in front of us was thick with lightning bugs and they put on quite a display both nights. The host’s brother-in-law, who is the on site contact, visited us and was very friendly. I’m so glad to have gotten to chat with him. Walter, this place is a gem. I hope I get to return!

I was disappointed. We cooked on the ground as there was no picnic table for our site, dispite the promise of one. The trashcan was overflowing. Most annoying, there was a really bright street light close to our spot that was on all night. You could read a newspaper I imagine 100 feet out into the field because of it. The view during the day is nice. But that didn't make up for the short comings. Glad I had 4x4 coming up the steep gravel driveway. Also, our trailer was right next to our neighbors. No privacy at all.
