For us it’s perfect in the middle of nature with water all around very very secluded :) host was amazing and working hard on the property to make it an even more amazing experience than it already is :)

Truly primitive, but close to home!
The Forest Retreat
We had a great impromptu weekend at The Forest Retreat. Super easy drive from Nashville, and truly “out there.” If you’re looking for some primitive camping where no one will bother you, this is the spot! Close to a boat ramp for lake access, and the property is an awesome location for untouched nature with “reservable” privacy. The hosts are awesome and super friendly. We’ll definitely be out again soon!
