Would stay forever if we could!
We camped on Grant and Becky's land as a family in the Fairy Woodland, and we could not have picked a more beautiful place to spend a weekend. The land is very well maintained and is full of beautiful, native plants and mosses; there's something pretty everywhere you look. The fairy woodland is near a cliff that offers breathtaking sunset views over the mountains. Our kids also had the best time, especially meeting Grant. He took them on a tour of the fairy village when we arrived, and they refer to him as their friend since then. Grant and Becky came to check on us a couple of times during our stay and made us feel welcomed and cared for. They're awesome hosts, and I'd give the spot 5 stars just because of how hard they're working to run this place.
The waterfall we visited was incredible. We did some cold plunging and bouldering. The path to bottom of the falls is basically all bouldering, but it's not difficult for anyone that's able to crawl around through some rocks. The main paths are very walkable, and there are several trails nearby for more experienced hikers to enjoy.
Caution: there are cliffs <50 feet from where we slept, so keep a close eye on small children if you bring them here.
All in all, we loved our time here so much and we will be back as soon as possible. Thank you to Grant and Becky for letting us enjoy their beautiful home.
