Treehouse or Creekhouse
Cabin on the AT
Right along the Appalachian Trail is this gem of a place. Everyone we met was a character and we loved talking with them. Hundreds of hikers stop here while hiking the AT and you can feel it in the atmosphere. It’s a special place. They have a resupply store that has anything you’d need. A kitchen. Showers and laundry. Even towels are provided. We stayed in the cabin and it stayed very warm especially in the loft section. There’s a tree house, bunk house, the cabin and two more separate rooms on the property. Highly recommend stopping by this camp!

Standing Bear CAMPING 🏕
What a great place to stay!
Very nice place to camp! Met some great people and the staff was very pleasant to be around. I loved the rustic feel. It’s was considerably better than staying in a hotel in the noisy cities near the smokies. Relax unwind and camp here! I’ll definitely be coming back 😁

Cabin and treehouse camping
The lodging was exactly what we were looking for but with some added pluses. We wanted a tree house or cabin and we got one of each due to a happy accident. Both were comfortable and clean. The cabin was far bigger, but we didn’t mind downsizing to the much smaller treehouse with my wife and I and our two pups. Everything was clean, heated, and they made every effort to accommodate use when ever we needed. The happy addition was the campfire where we met other hikers and travelers there to enjoy a beautiful time in the serenity of the Smokies. Definitely recommend.

Standing Bear CAMPING 🏕
Awesome spot
Beautiful grounds, friendly folk, sweet funky old art buildings, and quiet. All that I hoped for and more. We visited during the AT off-season, so there were just a few campers. I backed into a ditch upon arriving and a super kind resident pulled me out.
