South Suckcreek Campground

Sites are nicely spread out. Quiet and beautiful property. Our site was spacious enough to spread a few tents out, and the neighboring sites were far enough away as to not be a disruption.

Really beautiful property and Billy was super responsive! It was just louder than we expected and there was some bizarre trash left at the site (someone’s moldy blankets and clothes). Our biggest issue was that someone road an ATV (not Billy) from 3p-10p and started back up again at 10a in the morning so the trip ended up not being the peaceful get away we had hoped for. Based on other reviews, I’m sure that’s not the norm…

I love this place. It not only has beautiful views but it's quiet and peaceful. No one bothers us up here. Billy and his family are also nice and hospitable. Will definitely keep coming back.

I loved tent camping on Billy's land. Bring alll the things you need because it's just a plot of land! It was beautiful and just the getaway that I needed. It was very secluded, but close to Chattanooga and lots of hiking and climbing! I would definitely stay here again!

We loved the unique rock formations and amazing views. The wild blackberries were an added treat. We had the whole space to ourselves and loved every minute.

Sweet seclusion

We had a blast camping in our converted Skoolie but wish we knew that having four wheel drive / off road ability wouldve been ideal to get up the gravel hill road to access the sites. We made it happen tho and loved the caves. Super cool. Thanks Billy!

It was fun to go tent camping here! There seemed to have been some left over things from other previous campers but nothing that was bothersome. The road up to the campsites was a little rugged but with AWD we made it through.

We loved camping at (primitive) Suck Creek Campground in TN. The set up was perfect and we were able to select whatever space we wanted. We woke up the next morning to a beautiful sunrise and to our surprise, we discovered that we had camped the night above some Indian cave dwellings. We had a fantastic time exploring the caves and taking many pictures to share. We will be back! Mr. Billy we love your campground. Thank you for opening up your space to campers and offering us a peaceful place to stay.

Absolutely our favorite camping spot of all time! Such a beautiful scenery and secluded lots.. love all the rock formations and how you can pick your own spot.. Billy and his sons are so friendly and even helped us look for lost solar light..we came in our 4 wheel drive pickup truck and was fine getting to the back where all the rock formation camp sites where.. we will be back for sure, one happy camper! Great rates too! Thank you so much!

Beautiful location and view. Great if you’re looking for a place to sleep in your car/rv for the night and not really hang outside. Fire ants are everywhere and aren’t the type to leave you alone if you leave them alone lol. They are super aggressive and were even at the second site I had tried after the first night. I’m not from the area so this very well could be typical and it’s nature so you get what you get. Good communication from host.

Easy to find and was in a quiet and beautiful location. Wish we could have stayed longer but we were only in town for a night. Would definitely recommend and would love to come and stay again if we are in the area.

We needed a last minute place to pop up a tent as we was traveling through chattanooga TN, it was after 9:00 pm when i asked for a reservation that night & the host immediately got back with me & we had a awesome place to stay right on top of a rock overlook.

Set up here for a few photos. Large sites and awesome views. I loved the stone formations throughout the site. If you're driving in a car, you will have a difficult time reaching a few of the sites.

There real nice country folks,easy to talk to. The campsite was clean and quiet. The views and trails were amazing. You're only about twenty minutes away from signal mountain Rd,l it has a lot of stores to stock up on goods The road to the campsite isn't to bad we made it without 4/4. Highly recommend it.
