Private sites
100% of recent Hipcampers say the sites felt private.
Firewood is provided at no additional charge. We are gladly sharing our 25 acres of land with two campsites and one vintage camper for others to enjoy. There are two remote camping areas with plenty of space between them for privacy. They both have access to a cleared field with plenty of space to relax and unwind. This is a beautiful place for stargazing away from the city lights. Wildlife sightings may include deer, turkey and a wide variety of birds. We welcome families; kids 15 yrs and under are free. Two composting toilets are available for your use, each located in a simple, enclosed structure and stocked with all the basic essentials for a comfortable experience.

Shasta Susie - Vintage Camper

100% (5)
Onsite RV/trailer · Sleeps 2 · 2 beds
Susie is nestled under cover on 25 private acres with large trees and an open field surrounding the camper. No neighbors in sight. Enjoy the provided camp chairs for relaxing during the day and start an outdoor fire for roasting marshmallows and telling ghost stories at night. A small solar panel and storage battery provide power for LED lights inside and just outside the camper. No other power is available - unplug and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Inside the camper, the original 3 burner stovetop is available for cooking and a french press and coffee is provided to get your day started. Susie has a small sink for washing hands and dishes but does not have running water. Please plan on bringing all water you will need for the duration of your stay. Essential cookware, dinnerware and utensils for two are available for your use. Two twin beds are available by converting couch and table. You will need to bring your own bedding - sheets and/or sleeping bags and pillow cases.  Susie is cozy camper with a standing height of 5’11”.  There is a picnic table under cover for outdoor dining, playing cards or just sitting and enjoying the peaceful scenery.  During winter months a propane heater and fuel are provided to keep Susie toasty warm. A waterless composting toilet is located just a few steps behind the camper for your convenience. Shasta Susie does not require any additional cleaning fee or cleaning service. We ask that when you check out, you return camper to the way you found it (or cleaner) for the next guest. All cleaning supplies are located under the sink including cleaning wipes and Swiffer/pads. Please shake rugs outside before you leave. Make sure you take all food items and trash with you so no uninvited guests (mice) arrive after you leave.  Activities near by: Norris Lake is a short 10-15 min drive for boating, canoeing, swimming, and fishing. The Winery at Seven Springs Farm is a 12 minute drive from the camper site. They offer daily wine tastings from a large selection of award winning wines.
