Very private and secluded. Lovely sunset views. Bathroom was locked when I arrived but opened by the next day. Luckily, I have no problem going outside.

The area was clean and the showers hot. Not much privacy as the site is just off the road, but the toilets were clean and showers appreciated

Camping at site 2 was a great experience for my boyfriend and me. A ton of land to explore and for the dogs to run around. Plenty of privacy if you chose to camp in the woods. The showers were a great amenity for 90 degree days! Would be nice to have a picnic table and designated fire pit for cooking and such but we made our own firepit and the truck tailgate worked for cooking. Thanks for the peaceful stay Ben.

Absolutely beautiful property. Tranquil. Beautiful. Private. If you are the only camper, this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. If you are 1 of 2 campers; make sure if you are wanting shade—you get the one near the fence and under the tree. Grounds were well kept, quiet, and everything needed!!

Very spacious and private feeling. We had camping neighbors for one night and the rest of the time it felt all to ourselves lol. The bathrooms/shower are air conditioned which was a nice surprise too.

It was a pretty good location had a couple bad things like bathrooms where just ok and there where Maggots everywhere. Overall still not a bad experience. All though we never could get in contact with the owner.

Not knowing where to park, I accidentally wound up camping at Site 1, at the furthest point from the building where the bathrooms are. It was absolutely beautiful, with mountain views, a grassy field, and the neighbor’s cows nearby. There was only one other couple camping on the property, so it was quiet & peaceful. Staying at Ben’s was the best Hipcamp experience my dog & I have had yet. Superb spot.

Great area for primitive camping. Nice place to hike as well. Lots of land to run around and places to hunt it seems. Would go back. As long as your responsible really you can set up camp anywhere in the woods.

Excellent camping spot! The campsites are both within a primarily cedar wooded area and far, far away from the highway/ residential areas. There is a huge steel fire pit and even an indoor bathroom available with a shower. The well water is a bit sulfuric which might be a bit of a shock to city folk but you'd be a fool to complain about that; where else can you take a hot shower while camping! This was probably the best campsite I've ever found outside of a national/state park

I love this site! The views of the Clinch mountains! The privacy! The trails! It is all so wonderful. Im living full time in my van with my 2 dogs and as soon as I drove in I immediately booked another night! Ben was super friendly and helpful. He was on site working for a bit answered all my questions and left me to myself which I love. There are spotless bath facilities if you want to use. An over all A++ experience.

The campsite had so much space! It was cleared and mowed nicely. There was a big community fire pit but not one at our campsite. Ben was happy to let us build our own little fire pit at our site. There was a wedding going on at the building where the shower was when we arrived in the evening(it was a Saturday.) Which felt a bit uncomfortable at first, but they were winding down and were out by 8pm making for a very relaxing evening under the stars. Beautiful wide open spaces and star gazing! The bathrooms were super clean and showers were nice and hot which was a major plus after a chilly evening. A perfect stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city coming through Knoxville.

Rocky Meadows is beautiful. Not too far off the beaten path, but far enough where you felt like you were in the country. We took our pop up camper and brought a generator. We were on site 1, which is large but not as secluded as site 2. Their is an event center with very clean restroom and shower close to your campsite. There was a picnic table and portable fire pit provided. Ben, our host was super friendly and easy to contact when we needed him, but left you to your own to enjoy the place too. There was an event the 2nd night we camped, so wasn't as quiet or private as the first night, but we weren't bothered by that. It was nice our little yorkie didn't have to be on his leash the whole time. (He is the only dog we have ever had that stays right with us without the leash) and he usually pouts the whole time we are camping because he is in his portable fenced area or on a leash/run. He loved being able to explore off leash. We did put the leash back on him when people started arriving for the event. He is a people person and would have acted like the campground greeter if we hadn't have leashed him. I wanted to go back this weekend but it's booked already for the next few weeks. Maybe they will add a few more sites in the future., maybe even with water hook ups. We brought our own with us and the first night when we cooked I just took my dishes to the bathroom and washed them in the sink.

Lovely spot. I pulled up in my self contained van early enough to enjoy a walk up the ‘rocky meadow’ hill. A trail had been cleared. , Sat for a bit on a bench, saw wild turkeys. Very happy to have had access to the natural beauty of this spot. It set the tone for the rest of my trip with many campsites to experience. The bathroom in the event center is very new, very clean. I was the only camper. Max 2. Private.

Ben was an attentive host, quick to reply with any questions we had. Accommodations were great, tent sites are extremely large, and access to the event center for bathrooms, shower, and kitchen was a huge bonus!

Ben’s land is gorgeous and it’s close to the Holston river for paddling. We really enjoyed site #2 which is perfect for hammocks. Having a clean bathroom with a shower nearby was an added bonus for the money. We will definitely stay here again when we’re in the area.

I had a perfect time staying at Ben’s property! It was a great stop along a campervan journey with my husband and dog. We had a convenient picnic table to cook our dinner, the clean restrooms (and shower!) were much appreciated, and the area was quiet and lovely. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

This was perfect for us. Nice flat area by a tree with a picnic table and grate/ fire spot. Close to the event center but no events happening when we were there so it felt private. Bathrooms clean and convenient. Water much have been well water because it didn’t taste good, we filled up elsewhere. Not a huge deal tho. Able to let our dog off leash and she loved getting to run around. Quiet at night and beautiful views of the foothills of the smokies
