WE ARE REMOVING THE TENT AND PLAN TO BUILD A RUSTIC CABIN IN THE SPRING. WE WILL ALSO HAVE REGULAR TENTS AVAILABLE FOR RENT, AND WILL UPDATE WITH NEW PHOTOS. THANK YOU TO ALL OUR PAST CUSTOMERS 😊##### We are closed for the season######## Brand name Bell 16 foot round tent built on sturdy cedar deck on top of a cluster of large limestone rocks in beautiful grove of mostly Maple and Oak trees. My oldest son Ben, and I built this campsite in January of 2024, from both our visions, and tried to make it a truly magical setting. Ben was also featured in two episodes of Building Off The Grid, on the Discovery Channel, so he put quite a bit of expertise and knowledge into our site. I love hosting and decorating, so the interior of the tent is constantly changing. Also features cedar outhouse with composting toilet, cedar bridges built across rocks, as well as two chair hammock area, picnic table and gas grill. Firepit has natural log seating and several more folding chairs, pillows and outdoor blankets stored in waterproof chest. Tent features a queen size bed, adult size folding cot stored under bed, adult size sleeping pad, 2 upholstered chairs set up as reading/relaxing nook, coffee maker, and Yeti battery pack for electrical and charging needs. We will provide drinking water and extra water for washing up. We supply all linens and dishware needs. First Aid Kit is provided, but we are just a short walk through the woods if you need anything. Nestled on 1 acre of our 10 acre hobby farm, which includes Peacocks, chickens, 4 cats, 5 Collies and a Weimaraner named Maggie, as well as a couple of goats, including a very friendly dwarf goat named Pickles. You may also see wildlife, such as deer and turkey, strolling down the meadow on the lower part of your site. Strands of lighting and battery candles provide a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. Coolers available if you need one. You can bring up to 2 extra tents for families looking for an out door experience . For additional fees we can provide you with firewood, fresh eggs, homemade breads, cookies, locally sourced honey, and ask us about some home cooked meals! We ask that you please close up all windows and doors when you check out😊This site is nestled on one acre of woods and field. This site is nestled on one acre of woods and field. It has it's own private driveway and parking area. 45 minutes from Nashville, only 5 minutes to Watertown for any supplies you made need. Private outhouse with composting toilet, no shower but potable water is provided. We do allow guests to bring up to 2 additional tents to set up. The tent has a queen size bed, an adult size cot and sleeping pad. For more than 4 guests, we do allow up to 2 extra tents that you may set up, and we do have outdoor mats available for you to set your tent on.

The campsite was very nice, with great personal touches and everything we needed during our stay. There were strings of lights hung throughout the main camp area, which was great for getting around at night. The large tent had everything one might need, from cookware and utensils, blankets, seating, as well as a bed AND a fan for cooling off. The entire setting was very pretty and relaxing, with the tent on a deck perched over large rocks with thoughtful mulched pathways throughout. It was a very nice place and our hosts were very easy to get in contact with, making sure we had a great time. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great campsite with extra perks.

The site is really cute, the rocks are gorgeous. They have a lot of what you'd need for a good trip, including a grill and tools, pots and pans, tables, chairs, trash cans, etc. They have some cute dogs that may run through the site, which is okay if you like dogs but maybe not so much if you don't (or if you bring your own dogs). But I'm sure if you let them know you don't want that happening, they will accommodate. They communicated very well. Also, they have roosters that will crow at early hours of the day, so be aware of that. Overall, it was a great stay and the hosts were great.

Over the Moon for Over the Rocks!

We found this place online and we are so glad we did! A short girls trip with daughters and their kids, this location made us feel like we were secluded, yet safe. Miss Judy had so many extra touches and a cozy atmosphere. We also got a visit from their peacocks in the morning! We would definitely stay again. Great site and great hosts!

This was the absolutely PERFECT getaway spot. The description online was accurate in every way. We enjoyed walking around, as well as making s'mores and hotdogs! Judy was super responsive, helpful, and intentional. What a beautiful, safe, and serine place! 🫶🌞

This is a wonderful place for a family getaway. The large rocks on which the yurt is set make the location truly spectacular. I highly recommend purchasing firewood to enjoy making s’mores together. My five-year-old daughter loved visiting the dogs on the property, as well as the chickens, peacocks, roosters, and goats. In the evening, the lights surrounding the yurt create a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere.

On the Rocks is such a rare and stunning place to camp! We really enjoyed the cozy fall setup inside the tent — it felt so welcoming and thoughtful. The fresh pumpkin bread was absolutely delicious, and the eggs are a must-try… so tasty!! We had a great time exploring through the rocks and woods, and even though the site is right beside a road, there wasn’t much traffic at all during the weekend. It truly felt peaceful and semi-private. This was such a refreshing and relaxing place to stay and spend quality time together. We’re so glad we found this gem and can’t wait to come back!

Weekend at the Yurt

My husband and I loved Judy’s land! The critters were a bit noisy at times but other than that we had a relaxing time. The baked goods were delicious too!

The area is GORGEOUS! The site is really nice with excellent amenities. I would recommend to anyone who is a heavy sleeper. I unfortunately am not. There are chickens and peacocks who are very loud. Wake up call is about 3:30 am. I'm not complaining just think consumers would like to know.

It was amazing! Close enough to drive into Nashville for a concert…far enough away to breath and reconnect with the earth. Simple living that forces you to slow down, and with enough comforts and convenience to keep that simplicity peaceful! The flowers and treats on our bed, farm fresh eggs, firewood, gas grill, firepit starter supplies…:and let us not forget the peacock!

We loved staying on Judy’s campsite! It was so beautiful being surrounded by so many trees and animals. Our favorite part was seeing the peacocks make their rounds. We enjoyed sitting by the fire. When it rained we sat inside the beautifully decorated yurt and listened to the rain tapping on the tent. Would definitely recommend!!

What a cute little spot! The yurt is super comfy and cozy. We did order some choc chip cookies and a loaf of bread. The cookies were some of the best I ever had, and while I didn’t slice into the bread til 2 days later, it was still soft, fluffy, and made the perfect toast. Loved this space and so did our dog.

My kids loved exploring the rocks and looking at all the animals! The yurt is clean, cute, and cozy, and the campsite was perfectly stocked for novice campers like us. Great for young kids—room to run and explore, and only my youngest needed help on the fascinating rocks/boulders that the yurt is built on. I’d like to visit in other seasons—more foliage would make the campsite feel even more off the grid!

Fairy tale setting

This site is like out of a fairy tale. So cute and cozy! You can tell the hosts’ heart, vision and creativity went into designing the site. Judy was a wonderful hostess and her homemade cookies are delicious! Highly recommend this site!

Magical yurt 🥰

An amazing place to have a little getaway even if it's local. My husband and I had a relaxing time listening to the rain while staying cozy inside. We ordered some cookies and they were so good with our coffee and hot chocolate. I love the style and decor put into this yurt. Makes me want one of my own They really put a lot of care and love into making this spot special. We would definitely go back to enjoy the fire pit sometime when it's not raining

We absolutely loved our stay on Judy’s property! It’s so well stocked and thoughtfully designed. The yurt is perfectly cozy and spacious. We had four kids with us who stayed in a tent. They had a blast climbing on rocks, feeding the animals, and exploring the property. Pro tip: take Judy up on her offer to bring you dinner. Not only did it make our trip so much easier, but it was delicious! :) We will absolutely be back again.

Best HipCamp Yet!!!

Phenomenal setup. Absolutely awesome. They thought of everything - it's so dang cozy and beautiful. The way it's built on top of the rocks is so unique and it really makes the whole site stand out. Hosts were very hospitable while respecting privacy. Delicious cookies. Everything was clean. We had an amazing mini moon with our pups, and we will definitely be back.

It was cold!

Great out of the traffic place to camp. Host goes above and beyond to supply necessities. Not sure 6 people would be comfortable in the tent but everything was great for two. We didn’t think to take a heater so we got cold at 34 degrees. Host offered a heater but I didn’t read my messages. Loved that firewood was right where I needed it. Not far from Cedars of Lebanon State Park so we got in some great hiking.

It was my daughter’s 10th birthday and it’s tradition to go camping on/near her bday. My husband took our daughter and younger brother to Judy’s site and they had the best time. The nights were cooler and Judy provided extra blankets and a heater. The kiddos enjoyed all the animals, especially Pickles, the goat. She became my son’s best friend. Judy even baked cupcakes for my daughter’s bday. The kids enjoyed exploring under and around the rocks.

Beautiful, unique and private yurt

Judy was an amazing host and we LOVED the site. Lots of nature and birds, cozy and clean yurt, thoughtful and well laid-out campground. It was really peaceful to be there after a long day on the road. We ordered homemade bread from Judy and the chocolate zucchini bread was AMAZING! It was fun to see a flock of peacocks outside the yurt window in the morning. We’ll be back!

Judy has put together the most perfect campsite! Her knack for hospitality is in every detail; from the pretty tent, to the comfortable bed and cot, to the overall layout and amenities of the site. It’s the perfect blend of rustic camping with the feel of an B n B. My Littles and I had the best time camping with our dog, here! Can’t wait to come back another time!
