My wife and our friends have stayed here several times and always look forward to coming back! Melissa is amazing!!!! She’s so quick to respond and always has the campground ready for us with cut grass, clean amenities, plenty of firewood, and a beautiful, quiet place to spend a weekend. Highly recommend!

This property was peaceful and relaxing. Having hot water and electricity available made the stay super comfortable. Super easy host and very welcoming.

My two kids and I absolutely loved our stay! Melissa’s property is beautiful, and so clearly well loved. We camped tucked back in the woods with beautiful old growth trees and a clearing that shows you the stars. It was private, peaceful, and Melissa was an exceptional host. We’ll absolutely be back for another stay and the chance to explore the property further!

Beautiful property in the country. Everything was exactly as described. Quiet and peaceful. Her partner came out to help when I dropped my motorcycle and was kind and friendly. Beware that access to the group camping area and showers was slippery and a little steep by motorcycle after a rain but should be fine in an automobile (I was prewarned). I would stay there again.

Loved tent camping at this area. Easy and clear directions to get there. Great amenities like shower, bathroom, picnic table, chairs, and campfire. Very nice people.

Melissa texted me with complete directions and info, made me feel very welcome, although I didn't get to meet her. The property is beautiful, and the group camp is very nice with outdoor showers, a portapot, and hanging lights. She even has a yurt! I saw a deer, many many fireflies, and heard turkey. A very nice getaway!

Had a great experience camping on Melissa’s land. Stayed in an RV at the lower campsites and they were clean and well set up. Group camp area was beautiful and outdoor shower facilities were great. Definitely plan to stay again when in the area.

Melissa has always been wonderful and offers the most on her beautiful property! My friends and I have stayed here twice now and look forward to visits in the future. The campground boats plenty of hiking options, electric outlets, hot showers, a bathroom, hammock and more. I actually was surprised that there was more added to the grounds the second time around. Looking forward to more visits!

Great site! Kept clean and well maintained. Lots of flat locations to set up a tent. Really nice fire pit with provided firewood (for a donation)! Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely, quiet week camping at Middle Tennessee Outdoor Escape. We chose to camp at the top of the hill above the group camp area (site #3). It is a big open flat area with a fire pit. Perfect for what we wanted with our teardrop. The only challenge we had is that the porta potty is down the hill by the group camp area so it was a long walk up and down the hill to go to the bathroom. The showers are also at the group camp area. There was plenty of firewood available, which we appreciated. Melissa and her family made us feel welcome and made sure we had what we needed.

Excellent place! We have stayed here twice now and will likely come back annually when we're in the area. While the drive is steep, we can make it easily with our teardrop camper and highly recommend the hilltop camping spots - we had the space to ourselves both times and loved everything about it. Great communication from Melissa, clean bathroom, nice 4-stall shower house, chopped wood readily available, ambient string lights, and a couple power posts to plug in our A/C. We have done a lot of hip camps and this has proven to be one of our favorites in our travels. 10 out of 10 from us!

I loved the campsite we used, primitive, but water, showers and restrooms were close by. Great area to connect with nature!! The host Melissa was prompt and helpful to contact me answers to a few questions I had. We didn't bring quite enough firewood, she was kind enough to let us use what they had available. I'm definitely camping there again, maybe in the group campsite!! Thank you again Melissa, beautiful property!!

The space was amazing! We stayed in the group camp area. The lighting and space was set up for a cozy camp night with plenty of places to relax, four showers, and firewood. The directions to get back to the site on the property were very clear. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful spot in every way. The property is rolling, hikable, and gorgeous. Plenty of firewood left for us at the site. Flat parking for van camping as well as tent-pitching. An absolutely remarkable group camp setting at the top of a hill with showers, a bathroom, and more - This place is incredible.
In addition, the hosts were so kind and informative without being at all intrusive. Nothing but positive feelings in this place.

My wife and I booked a two night stay at Middle Tennessee Outdoor Escape the weekend of Oct. 28 and 29th. The Melissa provide us with perfect directions to the camping area. We were pleasantly surprised we had the whole area to ourselves. We were tent camping and chose to camp at the top of the hill overlooking the group camping area. It was a perfect spot for us. The showers, toilet, and picnic tables were in perfect condition. The is a perfect place for a group adventure. We will be back to stay in the future.

We came back this year for a 2nd time and really enjoyed our stay. The weather was beautiful and out group of 2 couples were the only ones here, and it was so nice to have a fire and chat. I can't wait to come back again!

This was the perfect weekend. We were gathering for an informal business planning retreat, and the private space, facilities and beauty of the space absolutely fit all our needs. Definitely would like to come back again! A real gem!!
