Gorgeous private 4 acre retreat with creek and road frontage surrounded by the great Smoky Mountains and the Cherokee National Forest! French Broad River is a stone's throw away for kayaking! In the heart of the beautiful Smoky Mountains, so outdoor recreation abounds! Paint Creek Recreational Area, Wolf Creek Falls Trailhead, and the Meadow Creek Fire Tower are nearby! Entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, located in Cosby, TN., is 25 min away. Town of Newport is 15 min away for all of your necessities. 20 min from Hot Springs, NC and Hartford, TN. Hartford is world-renowned for whitewater rafting! Hot Springs, NC is located on the Appalachian Trail. 1 hr from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Knoxville, and Asheville! Located 2 hrs from Cade's Cove. Many UTV trails all around, so bring your UTV's! Motorcycle friendly! All sites back up to the creek! Pet friendly! Pets must be well-behaved on a leash at all times! 2 small dogs, 4 cats, and 1 chicken are on the property. Circular gravel drive with easy access off of Hwy 340, so we can accommodate big rigs as well as vans and buses! All types of rv's, skoolies, vans, converted rigs, tents, etc. are welcome! ! Stay for a night, days, weeks, or months! Boondocking is $35 per night. Electric, sewage, and water are available. Electric is 15, 30, or 50 amp. Full hookup sites (electric, sewage, and water) are $60 per night. Discounts given for weekly/monthly stays. More boondocking sites available than are listed , so, if the site you want is booked, or if you need another site due to traveling with friends or family, please call us and ask! Dump station cost is $10 for boondocking guests. Bathroom and laundry facilities located in the cabin. Laundry is $3-5 (depending on machines) per load to wash and dry. Enclosed outdoor shower located next to the barn. Property is peaceful and serene, so we appreciate the non-use of generators. Site 1 is wooded and on the creek. There is about 300 sq ft of wooded area. Plenty of trees, so hammocks are allowed. Grills and fires are allowed. Guests may collect their own wood. There are no hookups. There is potable water about 75 ft away. The outdoor shower is very close, less than a minute walk. The bathroom and laundry facilities are located in the cabin, about a 2 minute walk. Guests may want to bring a camp toilet for convenience. Guests will need to put their garbage in the dumpster near the entrance. This is bear country, so do not leave any food out! There will be other guests on the property, so please be respectful. Property owners are on site as well. Site 2 is wooded and on the creek. It is located between the creek and the road. There is about 300 sq ft of wooded area. Plenty of trees, so hammocks are allowed. Grills and fires are allowed. Guests may collect their own wood. There are no hookups. There is potable water about 75 ft away. The outdoor shower is very close, less than a minute walk. The bathroom and laundry facilities are located in the cabin, about a 2 minute walk. Guests may want to bring a camp toilet for convenience. Guests will need to put their garbage in the dumpster near the entrance. This is bear country, so do not leave any food out! There will be other guests on the property, so please be respectful. The boondocking sites are all dispersed gravel sites. Any size rig can be accommodated. Water and a dump station is available. For those guests who are boondocking without hookups, the dump station fee is $10. There is easy access to the community firepit, swing, and outdoor pavilion. The outdoor shower is located about 150 ft from this site. The bathroom and laundry facilities are located about 200ft from this site. Pet fences, firepits, grills, etc. are allowed. This is a 30 or 50 amp back in gravel site and measures approximately 35"L x 25'W. It is a full hookup site with electric, sewage, and water hookups. The electric and water hookup is on the passenger side of the rv, so guests will need to run the power cord and hose under the rv, so be sure to have extra! If not, we can loan you an extra cord & hose. The sewage hookup is located on the business side of the rv. There is easy access to the community firepit, swing, hammock, and outdoor grilling/dining pavilion. A portable firepit is also available. The outdoor shower is located about 150 ft from this site. Ever considered living in a bus? Here's your chance to try it out! The Witt's End is an adorable converted shuttle bus, parked next to the beautiful creek! The Witt's End has all of the creature comforts of home, including a kitchenette completely equipped to cook complete meals, a comfy, cozy full-sized sleeping nook, a comfy sofa for relaxing, dining, or working, and a wet bath! The wet bath has a camp bag toilet. Guests will have access to the entire Witt's End bus. Guests will also have access to the outdoor shower, the outdoor grilling/dining pavilion, the outdoor furniture, the hammock, the swing, the firepit, and the bathroom/laundry located inside the cabin. The French Broad River is a stone's throw away! Paint Creek Recreational Area, Wolf Creek Falls Trailhead, & the Meadow Creek Fire Tower are nearby! We are in the heart of the beautiful Smoky Mountains, so outdoor recreation abounds! The town of Newport is 15 min away for all of your necessities. We are 20 min from Hot Springs, NC and Hartford, TN. Hartford is world-renowned for whitewater rafting! We are located 1 hr from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Knoxville, and Asheville! We are pet-friendly, however, pets must be well-behaved and on a leash at all times. We do have dogs, 1 chicken, and 4 cats on the property. WiFi is available. The bus does not have a tv. We have a beautiful enclosed private outdoor shower for our guests. We also have bathroom and laundry facilities located inside the cabin. Laundry is $3 or $5 per load to wash and dry depending on which washer and dryer is used. We are listed on various other sites, so other guests will also be on the property. Occasionally, the hosts may also be working on the property to improve it for our guests! Please message us on the day of your arrival with your ETA. We look forward to you visiting! Great place! The available internet was a super plus for me. Fire pits, the lovely sound of the creek, clean with easily accessible hookups, and the owners are very pleasant and informative. Will go back next time I'm passing through!

This was a cozy little camp with just a few spots. It was easy to find with Kim's directions and they were very flexible with our arrival time as we came in at 8:00 pm, not by design of course. Gravel site was level and hard packed. Hook ups were very convenient to site. Camp host Don, was excellent. Actually helped guide us out onto the main road as we departed. We will stay again if we are up that way.

Witt's End

I would highly recommend staying at Kim & Rob’s, it was such a peaceful place with the sound of the brook while you slept. It was conveniently located not far from all the main attractions plus some unknown areas that Kim & Rob suggested that overlooked amazing scenery. The bus was comfortable and came equipped with everything I needed and Kim and Rob were excellent host, they made sure that I had everything I needed and were very accommodating. I would definitely stay on their property again.

I had a great time camping at Long Creek Haven! The hosts were very friendly and finding the site was no problem. They have decent wifi even out at the tent site, a clean shower and bathroom that weren’t too far of a walk, and the shower had unlimited hot water which was a bonus. They have lots of great recommendations for local activities and were very accommodating. They provided a fire pit, fire starter, wood, a carpet, and a table. The property also had hammocks and a cute swing as well as some friendly dogs, cats, and a chicken. The tent site is right on the creek so it felt very secluded despite being close to the main area of the property. The site is between two roads so the traffic can be a little loud at times, but I didn’t find it too bad with the sound of the creek also being so close.

Very quiet and cute camp right next to a peaceful creek. The host and groundskeepers are super friendly and nice. Really glad I found this spot. Easy to pull in and backup to the site. The cottage is a work in progress but cute in the parts that are done.

Kim and her husband were very helpful, prior to staying she was very quick to respond to questions I had and the evening we pulled in it was dark, they helped us get backed in and were very helpful. Campground was quiet and peaceful.
