Congratulations on finding our secret site! We normally don't show availability, and tend to keep our google business page as showing 'temporarily closed'. (You would not believe how many non-campers are just looking for cheap lodging near Dollywood!) However, if you are interested in spending time in the great outdoors on the shore of Douglas Lake, we might just be what you are looking for. Please send us a message with the dates that you are interested in booking, and we'll let you know if they are available. Enjoy your own private penninsula campsite, just a few steps away from the shoreline. This campsite is secluded on a gravel road, many miles off the highway, but is close enough for daily excursions to Dollywood, Gatlinburg, or the Great Smoky Mountains national park. This campsite is surrounded on 3 sides by water, with the land border being fenced and gated. Additional pictures of our farm can be found on Insta and Facebook under Hunkerdown Hollow.Congrats! You've found our secret site! We don't normally list availability, but can open it up upon request. You are able to drive right up to the campsite. It is very tight at the end, requiring about a 5-point turnaround for most vehicles. Close the gate to the campsite and leave all your worries behind. There is a lock on the gate leading to the campsite, allowing you to control road access to the campsite. Bring your own towels and linens, as there is not a cleaning service (or cleaning charge). If you would like to rent linens, there are some available for an extra charge. Don't be afraid of the fishermen! We have world class fishing along our shoreline, and it is not uncommon to see and hear activity from the surrounding lake. Boats will also drop anchor to enjoy the coves around our property. Remember that sound travels on the water! Please be considerate. Get out and explore the lake. Make sure to pass by the lighthouse on Goat Island!

Awesome site and great Host! If you’re looking for a quiet and secluded spot to camp, come here. The site has a great tent, table area and outdoor bathroom. Having morning coffee by the lake was a favorite. Take the short path to the private lake access which is perfect for swimming, SUP, napping and fishing. If something is needed, there are stores within 15-20mins. My family and I spent 9 nights here and we didn’t want to go. Trey (host) was available to answer any questions we had. We will be back again and highly recommend!
