(PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION AND LISTING BEFORE BOOKING) The Bunkhouse is a peaceful, secluded retreat on our 93-acre horse farm. Sleeps 8 in cozy memory-foam bunks. Free-roaming horses often wander through camp. No electricity or running water; flush toilet, kerosene lanterns, and wood stove provided. Enjoy trails, ponds, a creek, and quiet forest. Just 15 min to Columbia and 1 hr to Nashville. The road to the campsite goes through a very small creek and up a little hill. Very low vehicles may bottom out. In the rainy months you need 4-wheel drive to get out to the site. We live on the property and will be available to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. We ask campers to please check in before 7pm and be courteous about communicating your ETA, as we will be planning our day around your arrival time. We are available via messaging up until 8pm.The Bunkhouse sits in a secluded corner of our 93-acre horse farm, offering guests a private, peaceful campsite surrounded by woods, pasture, and open sky. The site includes the rustic off-grid bunkhouse (sleeps 8), a fire ring, and space to gather, relax, and explore. Guests have access to hike freely throughout the property — as long as you’re not crawling through a barbed wire fence, you’re still on our land. Two ponds and a creek are within walking distance, and wooded trails weave through the hills and pastures. The free-roaming horse herd may wander through the campsite depending on the season. Please give them space and do not feed them. The bunkhouse is off-grid with no electricity or running water. Guests bring their own drinking water. A flush toilet and pit toilet are located just behind the cabin. Lighting is provided by wall-mounted kerosene lanterns, and heat comes from a wood stove. Vehicle access requires driving through a shallow creek bed and up a hill. Low-clearance vehicles may struggle, and 4-wheel drive may be necessary in wet conditions. Parking is at the campsite. Pets are welcome (up to 3). Pet fee is $30 per pet per stay, payable prior to arrival. Firewood is also available for purchase. One starter bundle included. Additional firewood available for purchase: $25 per stack. This is a simple, nature-centered stay — quiet, dark skies, and wide-open land.
