Hidden Timbers Homestead is a 7 acre campground retreat just 25 minutes outside the city of Nashville. With its open space and tall trees, it’s a private getaway still close to the action. The easy access and gravel roads give way to covered camping spots and quiet slips. The property also serves as a working homestead in its early years of development. On any given day you may be accompanied on your walks by our farm dogs or a chicken or two. Here you’ll find peace. It’s our goal that you leave revived and refreshed after hiding away for a few days on the homestead.

Our we offer access to our upper and lower meadows for tent campers and boondockers of all ages! Set up close to the community area and restrooms, or tuck away from the rest of the property with still just a short walk to the shower house. Your location is based on events, booking size and weather. We will work to insure you get a spot best suited for your parties needs.

Our private “Shady slip” is nestled between two trees and one of only two RV slips on the property. If you love privacy, this is the spot for you. Park your rig and enjoy your own large private “patio” with views of our forest. Site is equipped with a picnic table. You can also join us at our communal pit for conversation and music. Enjoy breakfast with farm fresh eggs you can gather yourself or have delivered each morning of your stay. Engage with nature and unplug, book a golf game, or take a quick drive into the city. Our homestead is a perfect place to ground and engage or hide away and refresh. We offer different seasonal events and will provide you with a list of local things to explore!

We now have Air Conditioning! Our Tent, Hazel, is nestled within the timbers on our property. It’s 20ft in circumference and rest on a deck platform. Complete with a queen sized bed, two chairs and a futon that doubles as a twin sleeping option; this tent can house up to 5 people at one time while still providing ample space. Our tent is non-electric, but still provides you with so many comforts and essentials to the camping experience. Things included: Dishes, cups and silverware for 4, a 32qt cooler, a percolator coffee pot with mugs, cast iron, cutting boards, s’mores sticks and grill utensils to use as you cook on the grill grate housed over our fire pit. A handful of board and card games, books, puzzles, a radio and lantern. Sheets, hand and face towels provided one per guest per visit. For those colder months, we offer a safe, indoor, propane heater as well as extra blankets. Outside you can find a picnic table and two Adirondack chairs just asking for you to enjoy them! Less than 35 steps to the restroom and shower house recently completed with more stalls to come! The property provides outdoor activities such as, swings, hammocks, yard games, a community firepit, and a chance to really unplug and relax just 25min outside of the city of Nashville. It’s luxury camping at its best!

By the time we arrived, it was already dark. The host came to meet us and guided us to our site. Once we were set up, she checked to see if we needed anything further. The bathrooms and shower were very clean. We departed early in the morning. My only regret is not being able to see it in the light of day. We hope to go back and spend more time in the area. We will definitely stay with them again!

Really lovely place. The meadow is peaceful and quiet, plenty of space with a great fire pit (pro tip: add on firewood delivery! You won't regret it). The hosts were really sweet, checked in on me and shared all about their very cool campground-like property. I was solo car camping in the meadow and it was wonderful, bright stars and just the peace I needed. I didn't use the shower but so great that that's available. Would definitely stay again!

Such a nice place to stay. The slip was easy to back into with our camper and there was plenty of room to relax. Beautiful wooded area and close enough to Nashville to visit but then return to a more peaceful place to rest. Absolutely wonderful hosts

We really loved the property! Lauren and Jeremy were great hosts and it was really peaceful. She was really accommodating and suggested what area was best for our tent and dogs. Overall, we had a great experience!

We had a nice night tent camping in the lower meadow. The bathroom/shower was AMAZING! The two dogs did bark allllllll night, but we enjoyed meeting them and the cats. We were the only ones there so we even got a communal fire pit to ourselves

Loved the place! It’s apparent that Lauren has been quite busy in developing “Hidden Timbers”. New shower and bathroom and even in the process of doubling the facilities. Plenty of space and options on where to camp. Great recommendations from Lauren as well, so be sure to read her emails and/or chat with her when you can. Can’t wait to stay there again and see the new barn once finished ;)

This was such an amazing stay. I had the pleasure of meeting the host and her family and it made the visit feel more like a home. When I got there I was the only camper so the host allowed me to camp anywhere! (There are a few sites). It was a really nice offer that I appreciated. I stayed at the upper meadow and it was nice and fairly secluded. It was so fun being near the chickens and rooster… I heard them every morning but I personally like that :) Hence why I booked here honestly. I got to meet their farm dogs who were so friendly and fun to say hey to during my stay. The bathroom and showers were immaculate and so cute. I liked the set up. They had a bunch of hammocks, picnic tables, and fire pits for people to hang out at. Y’all they just had everything you could want when you camp. I bought some fresh eggs during my stay and the host also generously lent me a camping pot/ pan set as I forgot to bring mine! Just so generous. Very communicative host, we texted a bunch throughout my stay for various things. Jist all around lovey stay. I was between here and a few other Hipcamps in the area. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here! Lastly, we talked about Jesus on the last night. As a new believer, this was a highlight. God is good!!!!

We loved this property! It was convenient, easy to find, spacious, and extremely well-kept! The family there was super friendly and helpful. The amenities are superior to most places I have camped. Some of the highlights were the fire pits, hammocks, and bath and shower (with HOT water!) We also got a nice list of recommended things to do and places to go from the hosts. 10/10

I stayed here for my bachelorette trip and it was so much fun! Not only was Hazel such a fun and simple stay, but the property was awesome too. I especially loved the dogs and cat (+kittens) and the other fun surprises that came with our stay. Lauren and Jeremy are GREAT hosts. We felt right at home and we all said we wanted to come back and/or live on the homestead!

Lauren & her husband were some of the most caring hosts I have encountered. We came here for a Bachelorette trip and we had so much fun and felt so safe. They helped us with anything we needed whether it was extra places or recommendations for fun activities. I 100000% recommend staying here and becoming BFFs with Oliver <3

Absolutely loved my stay here. The bathroom is so nice and the weather was gorgeous. The sweetest cat you’ll ever meet is here. I felt safe and comfortable, and will definitely be going back on my next trip out west!

We enjoyed the clean and beautifully decorated bell tent. Perfectly nestled in the trees making a camping experience without the discomfort and work of traditional tent camping. It gave us the opportunity to disconnect from the hold of electronics and enjoy family time. In addition to the wonderful hosts and their family a highlight was the comfort of home with restroom facilities. Can’t wait to book our next stay!

This was a quick stay for me and it had everything that I was looking for. I really enjoyed all the big trees providing shade and the sounds of the birds in the morning. Lauren was very welcoming and thoughtful when a storm rolled in.

Lauren’s homestead was beautiful and both our hosts were great about communicating and letting us play on the property with our toddler. A unique experience and we would definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

The yurt was warm and well prepared. Jeremy and Lauren were very helpful and made our stay a very pleasant experience. We ended up doing the movie experience and it was worth it, so much fun watching Ice Age by the fire. So many fun things to do and so close to Nashville and Bowling Green. Great stay, will definitely come back!
