Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Several sites to camp on 17 acres of forested land. In Linden Tn., an hour and a half drive from Nashville. The property is on a mountain ridge and community of large acreage properties ranging from 5 to 70 acres +. You'll be a 11 minute drive from the small town of Linden for easy access to a grocery store, restaurants and the Commodore Inn and Cafe. Five minutes to the Buffalo River with several kayak, canoe and tubing rental outfitters available from town or close by. Currently 'off grid' At the entrance is a concrete parking pad where an RV can park and enjoy a lovely view of the Loblolly pine forest below. Further down the mountain a winding road can be walked or driven (best if off-road, but I drive a front wheel SUV when dry) leads to additional sites on a level field of a mixture of cleared or treed , but private sites. A level area, then further slopes around the property to streams on either sides and a waterfall in the back of the property. Access to the waterfall is down a fairly steep mountain slope so accessible only for the adventurous.One RV site and several primitive camp sites on 17 acre mountain property. Several cleared areas to set up a tent. area is surrounded by seasonal streams with a lovely waterfall in the back of the property which is down a fairly steep mountain hill in the holler only accessible by the adventurous or seasoned climbers. Kayaking and canoeing on the Buffalo River 5 miles away, the Tennessee River and Mousetail Landing State Park 15 miles away. The town of Linden, with the Commodore hotel and cafe, grocery store and shops, is 5 miles (11 minutes) away. Hohenwald is 15 miles away. Away from it all, yet accessible to necessary amenities and fun outdoor activities.

Refreshing Escape

Beautiful Forest and RV site

Beautiful and scenic campgrounds with just the right amount of tranquility. Karen’s site was a perfect place for our weekend getaway. Needed that off grid time. Excited about scheduling again soon. It was such a refreshing escape.. Thanks again for offering such a refreshing escape.
