Fun stay by the river! The site has everything you need, strongly suggest getting the firewood bundle, it’s a great deal. Will definitely be back again 🤟🏻

Hart of the Pigeon Campground
I and my group went Camping for the first time, and were a bit worried till we reached the spot. But Hip camping has beautiful camp spots just by the river, our site was very calm and very peaceful. We had an amazing time there and many thanks to Erick for helping us through out our stay. Would surely suggest this place to anyone going for camping in the Smokeys.

This was perfect for one night. Erick called to ensure we knew where to go and helped us to our site and the bathrooms immediately upon arrival. Make sure to take a picture of the map of the sites as they are not marked. We needed Erick to show us where our spot was at as the weeds are overgrown for privacy. We stayed in site #3 and loved it. It was a new site and rocky, so I would suggest using an air mattress or hammocks. However, this site was the furthest up stream, providing the sound of the river rather than other campers. Overall, it was very private and impressively so as we were nestled between the road and the river. The site was small but perfect for one tent. Wipes were provided in the bathroom which allowed us to ensure it was clean to our standards before using. I would totally stay here again!!

Such a beautiful place to camp right next to the river! Erick is a super friendly dude! I will be booking this spot more in the future when i come back for more rafting down the pigeon river.

Great spot, we booked it, called Erick as instructed, and showed up all in about 5 minutes and he was cool with that. It was last minute because we showed up at the National Park to find our campground closed. The $5 bundle of wood was really good, big pieces of hardwood that burned for a long time. The site was right next to the river and also able to walk into the little town area, we could also hear live music across river in the evening. The campsite was close to the road but we were able to park our car to block the road and make it feel more private. Might not be good for little kids who could run into the road. The hillside campsites are a little more private and tucked away from the road.

Awesome location with a great view. Extremely relaxing place. Erick was a great host. He was accommodating and very helpful. I will definitely be back.
