Welcome to Greeter Falls Campground! Come to Greeter Falls Campground to Retreat, Relax, Be Refreshed and Get Renewed. Greeter Falls Campground is located less than a half mile from the Greeter Falls Trailhead, adjacent to the Sixteen Thousand Acre Savage Gulf State Park offering over Sixty miles of well-marked trails for every skill level. The Two mile Greeter Falls Trail loop connects you to three awe inspiring waterfalls as well as the nearby Blue Hole swimming area. We offer many recreational options to help you enjoy the area including Primitive Tent spots, Furnished Cabins and Yurts (Military Tents) and RV/Travel Trailer sites (each with electrical and water hook-ups). We offer Seventy campsites: Thirty RV Sites: - Eight Premium RV and Travel Trailer Sites - FHU with Septic and "Pull Thru". - Three Regular Pull-Thru Sites (without Septic) - Seven Regular RV Sites with 30/50 Amp Power and Water Hook-Ups - Seven Back-in FHU RV Sites with Septic connection - Five Small FHU Pull-in Sites with 30 Amp Power *Five of the above RV Sites also have Small Private Dog Parks (call for more info). (max 4 people). 6 Sites - #11 - #16 are located in Area A - the primitive tenting area. 4 Sites - #35 - #38 are located on our main Campus (Area C) - which can be used for car camping as well. We offer Ten Primitive Tent Sites. Most Sized for 1 large or 2 small tents. Sites #1 thru #10. Each site offers its own particular benefits and limitations. Sites 1-3 and 10 have max 4 people with nearby parking Sites 4 and 5 have max 2 people with parking AT the site Sites 6 - 9 have max 6 people with loading/unloading off the road and assigned parking Electricity and water sources are within easy walking distance from the sites to recharge your devices and refill water bottles. Porta-potties and trash receptacles are nearby as well. There is also a bathhouse across the street. Down the road, at our primary campground hub, we have an ADA compliant campground bath house with toilets, sinks and showers. We offer 5 Smaller Pull-in Full Hook-up (FHU) Sites - All Five are in Area D (#65 - #68 and; # 70) - These sites provide 30 amp service only (not 50 amp) - They do offer sewer connection (located conveniently for pull-in type rigs) Many campers also choose to set up a large tent and canopy in these sites. 30 amp power and water are at all these sites, so their perfect if you have electric appliances. Also ideal for those with electric vehicles who need a convenient recharging station. 50 amp connections are not available at this sites. Area B - The "Village". We offer nine 16’ x 16’ Square Military Squad Tents. Max 6 people. These same tents provide housing to our service men and women throughout the world. As the name implies, they are designed to accommodate a squad of soldiers. These nine yurts exclusively share a private 3+ acre preserve, located only 3/10th of a mile from the Greeter Falls Trailhead. This nine yurt Village has its own kids play area (ninja obstacle course, swings and sand box), hammocks, group gathering/dining space and community campfire with string lights. It also boasts of its own 20x30 pavilion and bathhouse. Inside - Each yurt comes furnished with 1 queen and 2 twin XL bed frames, memory foam mattresses. Each tent has two doors and six triple-layer windows (rain flap, plastic window, screen) as well as interior string lighting. Note: 2 of our 9 Large Yurts instead come equipped with 6 narrow twin beds. These Yurts are conveniently located on our main campus but nestled back into the woods, providing privacy yet still proximate to main campground services and facilities. What an amazing campground this is! I chose a primitive tent site A1 and was so glad I did. The tent pad was perfect; mostly level. I was glad for the tiny slope, as it allowed all the rain to flow down from under my ground tarp and 3 season tent. I stayed 100% dry. The outhouses were very clean. And the update B bathhouse was heated and immaculate! I didn’t think I would use it/need it, but a warm shower after the cold rain was a treat. Staff was friendly, responsive, and helpful and informed about nearby trails. This is a place I look forward to returning to!!

Nice campsites with picnic tables and fire pits. Plenty of trees for your hammock. Full hookups were nice. Pretty in the fall. Only drawback was the sites were a little tight and it took a few tries to get in. If you have a long trailer, it might be difficult.

We had a great night in our yurt. It was cold and we forgot our pillows, but we still had fun. All the neighbors were considerate and no wild parties happened that night. We also got dinner at the snack shack and it was delicious. Will definitely again if we go back to the area.

A great place to Park an RV for a few days. Wide wooded lots. Peaceful and quiet area off the beaten path. Would definitely recommend Greeter Falls. We’ll be back in the Spring!!!

We loved our stay at the primitive camp sites! We had site #4, and it was nicely tucked away while still being very accessible to the porta potties / water. The only bummer we faced was that it said electricity was in easy walking distance and our map showed that it should’ve been near the porta potties, and we were unable to find an outlet (it could’ve been an us problem). We wanted to blowup our air mattress really quickly. We went back to the camp store to ask about it, and they had just told us to use an empty site quickly and head back to our site. This worked out just fine— just a minor inconvenience. Other than that, things were great! The falls were very close and everything went smoothly.

I had a great stay at the greeter falls primitive campground. The sites were well marked, porta potties were conveniently located and sanitary, I loved my spot because I was able to pull my car in next to the fire/picnic table and the hosts were so kind and easy to communicate with! I will be returning!

Glamping: 11'x11' Furnished Yurt
The campground was a perfect weekend getaway, especially if you plan on doing some hiking! Camp was the perfect distance from some of the best trailheads in the area. As far as the campground goes, I have zero complaints about the campground or the staff. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and we were checked on each day to ensure that we were good and that we didn’t need anything such as firewood. The convenience of the bathhouses and electricity was also a nice touch. The only issue we ran into was noisy neighbors. We stayed in a yurt, and they were not as spaced out as we initially believed. With respectful neighbors it would have never been an issue because the campsites are unique and rather peaceful. However, once the sun went down, our neighbors chose to ignore the noise ordinance and broke out a projector and watched movies at an unreasonable volume until around midnight each night. I’d suggest the camp staff do a walk-through to ensure campers are following both the noise ordinance and the leash rules for pets. We also had a neighbor across the way with an untrained pup that mostly roamed free and struggled to listen to the owner's commands. Also, heard a lot of whining and whimpering when their pup was left unattended without any attention. I would highly recommend this campsite if you are a hiker because of the close proximity to the trailhead; however, if you’re looking for something more remote, quiet, and peaceful, I would contact the camp host to allow t

Great spot close to so many amazing hiking trails , we were able to work remote during the week and enjoyed the beautiful string lights in the trees at night. Nice , clean campground and friendly staff

I had a wonderful stay at this campsite! From the moment we arrived, Matt and Teresa made me feel so welcome—they were warm, friendly, and always available to help with anything we needed. The facilities were spotless, with clean restrooms and showers that made camping comfortable and stress-free. The grounds were well maintained, quiet at night, and perfect for relaxing by the fire. You can really tell the staff care about creating a great experience for their guests. As a single woman camping by myself, I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and enjoyable place to stay

We are first timers and Matt has been very helpful even before arriving at the camp site. Very clean and well maintained. We felt secluded at the same time, we felt safe. We were able to see the beautiful stars in our 2 nights we stayed there. Bathroom is squeaky clean. They also have dog parks around the campground. Very near the Greeter Falls entrance. Also, Christal’s sirloin burger is the bomb. Will definitely be back.

The campground was exactly as described—no surprises, just a quiet and scenic spot to enjoy nature. The restrooms and common areas were clean, well-kept, and in perfect order, which is always a big plus when camping with kids. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to unplug, hike, and enjoy some quality time outdoors, I definitely recommend this spot. We’ll be back!

Awesome place! Friendly staff. The campsite was secluded and the common areas were really nice. Pathways to the bathhouse were well maintained and the lights in the woods were a great touch. There is a lot of great hiking nearby. If you are looking for a secluded natural campground with beautiful areas to explore, this is your place. My husband and I would love to go back without the grandkids so to explore even more

Glamping: 16' x 16' Furnished Yurt
We stayed in yurt #21 during our weekend visit and we loved it. The area was nice and clean including the bathrooms. The only negative would be that the yurts are too close together and if you get some loud neighbors like we did on our last night then it can get annoying 😑 but overall we enjoyed our stay😊

Campground is very convenient to the beautiful falls. FHU site we stayed in was plenty long but narrow. It looks like they are working on landscaping improvements. Very quiet, had a store we didn’t utilize. We were in town for The Caverns, about 30 drive away. Overall nice stay.

Perfect location to access Greeter Falls! We went during a wet weekend and our site was definitely soggy. Unfortunately the firewood we bought from the campsite was also wet and the fire starter from the camp store wouldn’t catch—never had that happen before. Overall, though we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Loved this camp ground and the cabins! Our cabin was perfect, clean, cozy, perfect for a glamping experience! So close to really beautiful trails and a peaceful area. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Glamping: 11'x11' Furnished Yurt
The yurt we and our 3 dogs stayed in was just perfect for us, not too small or too big.was pleasantly surprised by the lights and fan in the tent,not expected. Campsite and surrounding area very clean and very quiet. Will definitely be back!
