The campground was a perfect weekend getaway, especially if you plan on doing some hiking! Camp was the perfect distance from some of the best trailheads in the area. As far as the campground goes, I have zero complaints about the campground or the staff. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and we were checked on each day to ensure that we were good and that we didn’t need anything such as firewood. The convenience of the bathhouses and electricity was also a nice touch. The only issue we ran into was noisy neighbors. We stayed in a yurt, and they were not as spaced out as we initially believed. With respectful neighbors it would have never been an issue because the campsites are unique and rather peaceful. However, once the sun went down, our neighbors chose to ignore the noise ordinance and broke out a projector and watched movies at an unreasonable volume until around midnight each night. I’d suggest the camp staff do a walk-through to ensure campers are following both the noise ordinance and the leash rules for pets. We also had a neighbor across the way with an untrained pup that mostly roamed free and struggled to listen to the owner's commands. Also, heard a lot of whining and whimpering when their pup was left unattended without any attention. I would highly recommend this campsite if you are a hiker because of the close proximity to the trailhead; however, if you’re looking for something more remote, quiet, and peaceful, I would contact the camp host to allow t
