Not sure if the campsite is good or not. We never reached it due to the 10' 3" bridge on the way into the neighborhood. The host was also unresponsive.

This site worked great for our purposes which was just a place to lay down in our little tent as we passed through Chattanooga on a road trip. However, the site was kind of difficult to find. (We did come in late at night, though) A sign or something indicating where it was would have been helpful regardless! Overall I recommend if you can handle some city noises. Great spot to lay your head for the price, once you find it.

I read reviews of this spot. It helped me choose. I can see how some would say schetchy and some would say just fine! It's priced right for both!! I came in after dark and had a hard time finding the 'trail head' no logo or sticker. But with how many reviews there were, I was convinced I'd find it. I'd stay again for a 6/8 hr sleep only layover. The neighborhood is a tad aged and few cars haven't been moved in a while. I'd stay again. Priced right

Rami was friendly, but I did not head the other reviewers advice to arrive before dark, and was not comfortable driving my campervan up the trail so I parked on the street. It was a quick overnight after a show, so no problem, but arrive before dark. Neighborhood was fine. Quiet and no problems. I never saw a HC sign.

Great little spot it's less rural than usual. Great for a couple or a single person it's not far from grocery store plenty of fun stuff in the area. Great spot if your passing through and want to just pull up and set up camp. Plenty of DDD (Down,Dead,Detached) kindling and even small firewood. If I had more time I might have picked a more scenic spot. All a good spot you can park right next to site so easy to set up.

Good for the money. Had to get used to the traffic and train noise at first, which was at a distance, but not too distant... A good fire pit was there. Where I parked on the street was about 20 ft. from my tent. Good flat surface since there once was a house there. Overall good 👍.

Exactly as described -- just a piece of land hidden out of the way.

Awesome spot for the true minimalist camper. If you have any complaints about this campsite then you should consider yourself a glamper. Secluded enough to get away from city life while still minutes away from Chattanooga. Space is open enough to accommodate multiple tents with chairs around the fire pit.

This site is exactly as described. A forested pocket of wilderness in an urban landscape. The sounds of the city and the railroad yard combine into an amalgamation of cicadas, industry and crickets. The site is flat and has room to accommodate one 6 person tent or 2 three person tents. The price is more than fair for what it is. And to be honest, if you’re a rail road guy, the sounds of debutts yard will welcome you with the bells and train brakes squeaking in the distance. It is literally maybe 5 mins to downtown and the aquarium and all the sites. It’s a great value.

Exactly as advertised, nothing unexpected. This is a neighborhood vacant lot with chairs and a fire pit. Great cheap, safe, and convenient stopover while passing through the area.

We loved camping here because it is surrounded by trees and it is only 9 minutes from downtown. Nothing fancy but great for the price. The neighbor/host was super friendly and even offered us some extra water. I would definitely recommend for a simple, budget friendly campsite close to a lot of outdoor recreational activities.

We loved camping on Rami's land! Directions were very clear. The drive down the road in was adorable! You can hear a few of the city noises but the crickets almost drown it out. Cleaned out enough for a 2 room tent with plenty of room for sitting around the fire. We had a little mishap with our big tent after almost getting it set up and had to purchase the one you see in the pics. It's definitely a cute little spot to hang out in the country but in the city

This site is difficult to find and it is in a part of town that doesn’t look entirely safe. There is not a good spot to park and the roads in this area are very narrow. I did not see the sign showing the direction to the HipCamp site that is mentioned in the site owner’s instructions. If you decide to camp here make sure you arrive in daylight so you can find the camp.

Nice little campsite, close to the road but still private. Some friendly neighborhood dogs that stopped by as well. Lake access and downtown are only 10 minutes away, and also within 30 min of stone fort bouldering. Would recommend!

I've stayed at the location before and this time spent an entire week camping out of my hammock.
I cannot praise the location enough for its privacy and location convenience.
If you're seeking a camping experience while staying near the action give this location a try.
I heard owls at night and saw a few possums and was greated in the morning by the two goats that roam in the nearby woods.
I'll be sure to book again in the future!

Great location close to downtown Chattanooga, which is exactly what I was looking for! Easy directions, nice spot. Could hear sounds of the city but that didn’t bother us at all, we loved hearing the trains as well (my fiancé especially!) Also heard a couple barred owls nearby, which really excited me because I love owls! Would definitely stay again.
