Foothills Valley Camp
Andrea is an absolutely diamond of a person who was extremely helpful, happy and continuously looked out for us during the entirety of our stay. Not to mention the facilities were impeccable clean which allowed us to enjoy the simple luxury’s of camping. She even gave us wood to start a campfire. Altogether, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Andrea’s campsite and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, lovely experience.

It was our first Hipcamp experience and we can highly recommend this place. The hosts are awesome, the area is beautiful and there are a lot of spots to choose from. The bathroom is nice, clean, and has hot water. This place is only 20 minutes from the Knoxville MTB area which makes it a great spot for MTB lovers. We will definitely be back!

Great spot! Had all I needed as far as amenities, and the wildlife in the woods (especially the turkeys) were a bonus!

What a beautiful large piece of land located less than 30mins from downtown Knoxville. There is a excellent washroom on the property, includes a hot water shower, sink, and toilet. You could easily use a tent or RV on the property and the property has an open layout so you get to pick your spot. Firepits are also allowed. Excellent for an outdoor experience in Tennessee!

Great dispersed camping spot not far from Knoxville MTB. Very nice hosts. Hot shower, quiet and safe.

There is plenty of room for turning around. The host were very friendly and welcoming. It’s a very quiet place to rest and surrounding area is packed with things to do and sites to see. I recommend this place!

Very nice stay. Beautiful lawn and great new bathroom/shower with hot water.
Met the hosts briefly and they were super nice.
Stayed there just for a night with my wife, 20m old baby and dog. Would definitely stay again.

So fantastic! The bathhouse facility was so nice to experience & utilize after 8 days of being on the road, Van camping. Lots of space for my pups to play & wander (on leash). The hosts were amazingly generous, warm, hospitable & supportive! I attended a concert in the old city @ Barley’s while in Knoxville. This location was a great sanctuary away from the little city!

Friendly helpful hosts. Beautiful manicured grass spot with a nice flat area for our trailer. Easy pull through. Saw wild turkeys walking through one evening. The bath house was clean and nice. We would definitely repeat here if we are back in Knoxville. Easy drive to downtown. Quiet. Nice fire pit with all the wood you could ever use. Thanks!

Foothills Valley Camp
This was my first hipcamp experience as I usually camp at state and federal campgrounds, KOAs, and a few private ones. I love only having one neighbor and she was camped on the other side of an outbuilding. Didn’t see her site at all. Doug and Andrea were very personable as host. Doug made a fire for us in the evening to ward off the chill. The campsites are on a beautiful grassy green knoll. Doug just put in a new bathhouse. Very clean.

Nice grassy open area to pick your spot from. I was greeted upon arrival and offered assistance if needed. They were also very thoughtful, giving me water and Diet Coke as I baked in the sun while setting up/breaking down without me even asking!! I was in my 21’ travel trailer and had no problem navigating the driveway or the field. This was my best Hipcamp experience yet and will keep in touch for tips when I get my own up and running ☺️

Doug and Andrea are amazing hosts! They met us upon arrival, and were so kind and friendly during our stay. They saw we have 2 kids and Andrea set up a kiddie pool and water table for them, as well as lots of toys for them that she keeps there for her grandson. They were so accommodating and welcoming. We really enjoyed getting to know them and being on their property. They have a picnic table and porta potty if needed. They are working on building a bath house as well. They also have a hose for water. No power available yet, but they didn’t mind our generator use.
Very convenient location to Knoxville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
We will definitely stay again of we are in the area, and we are pleased to have met Doug and Andrea and hope to stay in touch!

Lovely, friendly people and a quiet spot off the beaten path. We dry camped with our camper and had a plenty of flat space to chose from. Friendly animals, lots of birds and wildlife. Doug and Andrea and super hosts and we look forward to coming back!

Foothills Valley Camp
We enjoyed our stay at Foothills Valley Camp and Doug and Andrea were very friendly and helpful. We booked this camp within 20 mins of arriving because we decided to leave our campground in the Smocky's to get away from the wildfires and the host were ready and already building us a fire when we arrived. We were able to park our Scamp camper on level enough ground that we didn't need to do any extra leveling. Sounds like Doug is working on building a bathhouse which should be ready soon and will make staying here even more convenient. The location is good, still close enough to the Smocky Mountains but away from the hustle and bustle.

Had the whole place to myself! Doug was very welcoming to me and my poorly behaved dogs. Doug even built a fire for me before I got there.

We arrived very late in the night after my friends band played in Knoxville but it was a full moon and starry sky with minimal light pollution. Camp was quiet and well maintained. The hosts were extremely friendly and we had a great time conversing with them in the morning. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

The Southern hospitality was lovely here at Foothills Valley Camp - from the warm greetings, the offerings of beverages and Doug even made me a wonderful fire to enjoy the night sky! The location was central to other places to visit.
The camp area was a bit rustic for me, who prefers a bathroom and shower, but beautiful for any one who loves camping out in the open under the stars in their tent! I would recommend this to others!

Doug and Andrea are absolute gems. Incredible hosts who are very attentive to anything you'd need. Beautiful land with some gorgeous ancient trees and a homey fire pit. I absolutely would camp here again.

We had a great Labor Day camp out. We didn't realize how beautiful the campground was. Enjoyed hiking in the woods, and the beautiful sunset. Our host was accommodating and pleasant. Definitely will recommend to friends and be back!
