Tucked away on Sequatchie Mountain, this little campground and hostel invites you to experience some of East Tennessee's best parks for climbing and hiking. Cliffs and waterfalls are minutes away at near by Foster Falls, Denny Cove and Castle Rock. The hostel offers 3 bedrooms, fast internet, complete kitchen, comfortable beds, smart TV, fire pit, and laundry. The campground offers dispersed sites with fire pits and picnic tables, as well as clean bathrooms and a communal barn with a microwave, fridge, games, tables and chairs. You can walk our 22 acres and even take a short hike out to our bluff. Make sure to say "Hi" to our chickens and our barn cat, Strawberry, on the way. Add in the view of the stars and that makes this the perfect basecamp after a long day out.

Tucked away on Sequatchie Mountain, this little campground invites you to experience some of East Tennessee's best parks for climbing and hiking. Cliffs and waterfalls are minutes away at near by Foster Falls, Denny Cove and Castle Rock.  The campground offers dispersed sites with fire pits and picnic tables, a communal barn with a microwave, fridge, and games. Clean portable toilets and a dishwashing station. You can walk our 22 acres and even take a short hike out to our bluff. Make sure to say "Hi" to our chickens and our barn cat, Strawberry, on the way. Add in the view of the stars and that makes this the perfect basecamp after a long day out. Dispersed camping is $10 / person / night Please note the shower is not available during winter months due to freezing temperatures.

Cliffs and waterfalls are minutes away at near by Foster Falls, Denny Cove and Castle Rock.  Fast internet, complete kitchen, comfortable beds, smart TV, laundry, and farm fresh eggs make this the perfect basecamp after a long day out.  The hostel offers 3 bedrooms - this listing is for a private keyed room with 1x Full bed, 1x Twin bed and a private bathroom. This building was re-crafted to create a modern Appalachian basecamp with a minimalist and functional design. Inside you will find both modern and reclaimed furnishings that are true to the place and time.  Make a campfire and share some s'mores (tip: look up at the stars!), or cuddle up to watch Netflix on the couch. Either way, we created this place for you to get away.  Rooms are stocked with fresh linens and towels (and some complimentary water bottles and snacks), the kitchen has coffee and tea waiting to be made, and there's a small "corner market" with a few snack and meal options to purchase.  You can walk the 22 acres and even take a short hike out to our bluff. Make sure to say "Hi" to our chickens and our barn cat, Strawberry, on the way.

Welcome to your own private off grid cabin nestled on the edge of a picturesque bluff in Sequatchie, TN. If you're seeking solitude, stunning views, and a rustic yet comfortable escape, our small private cabin is the perfect destination. Please keep in mind that this cabin is designed for those seeking a rustic and secluded retreat. If you're looking for more amenities or a traditional bathroom with a shower, check out our other listings on the property! The cabin is truly an off grid retreat into nature with an incredible mountain vista. The interior of the cabin is comfortable for two with a live edge cedar table, full bed with a memory foam mattress, and an air conditioner for warmer days. Step outside to the covered outdoor kitchen, fully equipped with a gas stove, mini fridge, sink and essential cooking supplies. As evening falls, gather around a campfire and take in the cliffside stargazing. Power is no issue; the cabin runs on a robust battery bank charged by a gas generator. Simply push a few buttons for electricity. For nature's call, discover the thoughtfully designed composting toilet/outhouse with a mountain view! There's an outdoor shower at the front of the property with hot water. Additional guests are welcome to camp for a fee. Please note the shower is not available during the winter months due to freezing temperatures.

Peaceful, chill atmosphere, close to mountain climbing and waterfalls. Nick the host was super nice, friendly and accomodating. Great value for the price. We'll be back!

I loved camping at Fireside Camp! The property is beautiful, there was a hot shower and a nice covered dining hall/ game space. The place was easy to find, marked by signs and had firewood for sale on property for a good price. Not to mention how close it is to Foster Falls! This will be my go to spot next time I am in the area!

Nick's land is really beautiful! This was a new experience for us as the other Hipcamps we've stayed at had only 1 or 2 sites. That said, Fireside Camp sites are pretty spread out and other campers were friendly and courteous. We loved being able to choose our own site. Porta potties were very clean.

Nice spacious area for camping. Very low key and convenient to hiking in Savage Gulf. Porta potty is clean. The barn/common area is a really nice touch.

I LOVED this place! I was driving up from Ocala, Fl after the Rock the Country music festival and needed a place to stay on my way to Lookout Mountain. Price is super reasonable and it was especially great because I didn’t even realize at first they had a shower unit! Saved me from having to set up my own shower which is always nice. They even have a big pole barn community area where guests can mingle and hangout. I would absolutely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! A nice quiet field and accommodation. Plenty of flat land to set up on. The stars at night were great. We will definitely stay again when passing through and recommend to friends.

Nick and Sydney, thank you so much for having us! The campsite is just great, peaceful, close to the main attractions like Fiery Gizzard and Fosters Falls. My wife and I would definitely recommend this place! We enjoyed our two nights and will come back. We also loved to befriend with Romeo, the grey dog! Thank you, guys!

My kids and I loved camping here. In the middle of a lot of great hikes, waterfalls, and good eateries. The barn and porti-potty were awesome (and appreciated) amenities. We would definitely stay again.

I enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of space to set a tent up. There is the rooster that was making noise at 4:45 am so just be aware of that! We are relatively early risers anyway. We had some friendly campers next to us that offered us to sit by their fire. Would recommend to anyone looking to go to Foster Falls area. The town is just 10 minutes away if need groceries.

Loved the place! I stayed in the lower area near the pole barn. Lots of nice campers from many different areas. The spot was nice level grass where I set up my tent. The neighbor came over and got a nice bonfire going and many of us campers hung out and enjoyed the heat and conversation. I hope I get an opportunity to come back though the area an stay a few days in the future

We stayed at Fireside so we could be close to Foster Falls & Denny Cove for rock climbing. It was less than 10 minute drive to both crags! The camping was first come, first serve and we managed to secure a great spot . The neighbor was very friendly and helped us out when we got there ! We managed to meet a few other campers there who were all super nice and fun to hang out with!

We stayed one night to breakup a long road trip and absolutely loved it. Would stay again and recommend people to stay. They had an outdoor shower available and a portable restroom.

Thank you! We had such a peaceful time here! The home was cozy, exceptionally clean, well stocked with kitchenware, coffee/creamer/sugar! The property is gorgeous!! Sure there are neighbors, but you don't really don't notice them because everyone is so quite, and keeps to themselves. This was the perfect place to relax, recharge, and reconnect with the planet! It's close enough to town to be convenient, but far enough away to ride of the city noises. You can get doordash, and urber eats delivery here as well, which is great when it's pouring, and you're hungry :-)

The spot was great we used it as a base camp to explore the Chattanooga area and it was very conveniently located. The camp had all the facilities you would need and a really nice short trail that leads to an awesome view of the sunset over the mountains. Host responded to all our questions quickly and politely. I would definitely stay here again if I find myself in the area.

I left a review on mobile but I'll leave another review because Fireside is awesome. I needed time away from the city life. Spent 8 or 9 days there and unfortunately my tent malfunctioned. You can check out the Bluff on premise, Foster Falls and Fiery Gizzard up the road.

Fireside is an amazing place to basecamp or chill out on. The bluff has an amazing view and you are only a few miles from Fiery Gizzard and Foster Falls. Highly recommend for everyone. 10/10
