Country Critters Campground stands out as a unique destination in picturesque McNairy County, Tennessee, where nature meets community spirit. Our journey began in April 2016 in Emmett, ID, when we felt a divine inspiration to explore the potential of establishing a campground in McNairy County. After discussions with city officials and receiving a warm welcome for our business idea, we purchased land. However, upon our arrival in September 2016, we faced a rezoning challenge that led us to relocate to our current site. Thanks to the invaluable support of McNairy County Mayor Ronnie Brooks, we officially opened Country Critters Campground in May 2018. Nestled in a region known for its rich history, including the legacy of Sheriff Buford Pusser, our campground offers a serene escape for visitors seeking adventure and relaxation. We currently provide 15 spacious sites equipped with water and electrical hookups—9 featuring 50 AMP service and 6 with 30 AMP. Some sites also include sewer services, with options for 3 back-in sites measuring 30 feet in length and 12 pull-through sites, each 60 feet long.
