Camping near Sevierville
For a first heading to the Great Smoky Mountains, Karen's spot was better than anything I could have asked for. Plenty of room and amenities. Everything I needed was there. Such as firewood and a toilet. Very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend camping a night or two there to anyone willing to rough it a night or two.

We had an amazing time with Mrs. Karen & her husband. They welcomed us in, showed us to our sight and went above and beyond to be hospitable. It was close to everything in town but still super secluded. We would definitely recommend!!

A few friends and I visited the area to kayak fish the Holston and French Broad Rivers. Karen’s campsite worked out perfect for us! It was a beautiful campground in a perfect location for what we were doing.

Incredible, intimate camping spot!!
Amazing and friendly camp hosts. The spot is peaceful and very beautiful, fully shaded sights, large fire pit for the sights to share, water with a long hose for cleaning dishes etc… grill, picnic bench, hammock. There was a huge pile of firewood provided, over 5’ tall to have nice sized fires to enjoy every night. Each site backs right to an incredible gorge with a beautiful stream, and you can see and hear the running water. The camp hosts cared about our stay, and had many details most campgrounds don’t consider, like, a can of wasp spray to use if needed, a wire brush left to clean the grills, a large axe to split firewood, a provided hammock, garbage cans, and the porta potty was so clean, new, and smelled fresh. And they allowed our little dog. If your looking for an amazing place without huge crowds to camp, this is it for sure. We will definitely be camping here again. Thank you Bret, and Karen you made us feel so welcome.

A Great Family Camping Space
The area is beautiful. It was much closer to the family houses and a traffic road than I realized, so for meditators, it’s not the best, but for multi-generational family groups, this place is ideal. I would bring my family back here. Karen and her husband were nice and asked me if I needed anything quite a few times since it was raining which was sweet. I just wanted to spend time alone with nature. I felt safe from unwanted animal attention because the horses whinnied and the family homes had kids playing during the day so it was an active spot. A lot of mosquitos so I recommend bringing a net and/or being good at lighting fires. I camped with my large dog. There’s a portapotty and not really a designated hole in the ground or a private space to necessarily dig a hole so if you’re looking to really go primitive, I don’t recommend this spot. It’s more for family camping. Overall, I got what I needed at this space and recommend it for families and newbie campers.

Great Host Service
The spring was so cool, I think it helped cool the area down as well. Having running water with a hose was a life saver. The host was super responsive and helpful!

My husband and I had a great experience down on Karen’s property. We had it all to ourselves and really appreciated the provided firewood. Her communication is amazing and were very friendly and hospitable. Wish we would have spent more time down here!
