Great campground! Sites are spacious, water, electricity and plenty of firewood. I camped with three of my grandchildren, the camp hosts were so kind and friendly to them, we enjoyed all the animals, along with a trail ride on the horses! They are already asking when can we camp here again! 🏕️🐪🐴

My night at Fall Creek Stables was quiet. There was only one other camper. The storefront was intriguing with lots of antiques and odd items that could grab your eye for hours. The grounds were very organized and clean with a couple cords of neatly stacked firewood at every campsite. The bathroom and showers were very well kept, including the recreation and laundry rooms. I didn’t get a chance to go on a guided horse ride, but groups came and went, and it looked like they enjoyed themselves. It’s evident that Dale has put serious effort into having a sweet little campground, that all ages will enjoy.

We loved our stay at the stables! It was beautiful out there, clean, and we loved all the animals ! We went horseback riding one morning and explored the area the rest of the trip. We would absolutely come back!

This is a lovely site with electrical outlets, water spickets, picnic benches and a metal trough to have safe campfires. Each site had some wood available. The grounds are complete with laundry, nice restrooms and showers! Extra firewood for sale. Surrounded in woods at the backside and less than 15 minutes from Fall Creek Falls. Trial rides also available!

We really had a wonderful experience at the stables campground. The site was perfect well stocked with firewood and the bath house was ultra clean and a nice friendly staff at the stables. We really enjoyed a horseback ride around the property, which is one of the highlights of our trip. Much more private than the state park campground, and we will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing! Clean spacious new bathroom. The site (#19) was nestled between the trees. Firewood is available. There were so many horses, sheep, goats, kittens and even a dromedary and a zebra. The host was super easy going and nice. Went on a horseback ride in the morning before continuing our road trip, which was so much fun! It’s also super close to the Fall Creek Falls, which are absolutely stunning. Highly recommend camping here!

Dale welcomed us upon arrival. The sites were clean, and well appointed. A BBQ grill/fire pit, with wood ready to burn. A beautiful forested private setting, with a large picnic table, convenient hook ups and exceptional water pressure. The bath house is clean and well designed. We really enjoyed our stay for the strawberry full moon. The night bird calls and the fireflies were an added bonus. We also took a ride with Dallas (guide), Big Red horse and Rocky at the stables. The horses were well behaved and Dallas was knowledgeable and kind. We enjoyed the many flowers, mushrooms, and beautiful trees.
We definitely plan to return.

I didn't realize that site 18 was pretty sloped. However, the gentleman who owned the place, Dale, kindly let us pick a different spot since they were open. Overall an amazing experience. Would recommend!!

Tent camped here to attend an event at Fall Creek Falls Park. Would stay again! Great location, the bath house was nice. Mostly had the place to ourselves because it was a wet rainy weekend. Plenty of room for my tent and vehicle. Picnic table at the site.

Easy directions. Great access to Fall Creek Falls State Park. Bathhouse was very well kept and clean. Staff is friendly. Campsite utilities worked fine. Lots of character to the stable office and barn. Would stay again and would recommend.

Enjoyed tent camping here at the stables! With the state park being full, this was a great alternative that was still within close proximity of the state park. The kids really enjoyed getting to pet the sheep every time they went past to the bathhouse. Speaking of the bathhouse, it was immaculate. Very nice large showers. Enjoyed walking through the stable and seeing all the horses and watching the zebra and the camel in the front. Peaceful visit. Check out the porch for lots of antiques too! Cool cast iron and collectibles! We will return in the future to maybe do some riding next time. Ps. If you want to be near the bathroom I’d recommend lower site numbers or the highest site numbers. I’d say #17-18 are the farthest away. Thanks for sharing your camp experience with us!

This campground is one of our favorites! Check in process was super easy and prices are very reasonable, the Billiard room is great for down time when not able to be out side or waiting on your next adventure at the campground or fast access to the park. The horses and all the petting zoo animals our son and little dog loved the most and you wouldn’t even know so many animals where there it’s so clean! The restroom and shower area is immaculate! The peacefulness and privacy at the campsite was perfect and just a little walk to the barn to feel right at home with every lovely employee we encountered! We celebrated my moms 59 birthday and my parents 30 year anniversary here with all our family including our 2 dogs!We will definitely stay as often as we can here! Home away from home!

If you like privacy, this is for you. The road and spaces are not paved, so all the rock was a little hard for my 2 little dogs. The accommodations are nice, great privacy and friendly host, but 0 lights at night. You will need a flashlight!
Nice bathhouse and lots of horses, goats and even a zebra and camel!

We loved our stay at the stables! Dale and his wife were amazing and so friendly. The sites were well maintained and beautifully tree covered. Everything was so clean and quiet. The bath houses were the best we have ever seen. A bonus was as the amazing horses , we got to ride and fall in love with them! Dale even invited us to the country fair horse show to see his horses compete, it was such a great time. We will definitely be back!

Our family absolutely LOVED camping at Fall Creek Falls Riding Stables. We arrived to a pristine campsite. Ample firewood stacked neatly near the newly installed picnic bench we held our family dinners at. There was potable water and electricity to run our lights, charge phones, clean dishes etc. The bathhouses are immaculate with HOT water. My 2-year-old adored the animals!! Every morning, he woke up asking me to visit the Zebra & Camel on property. Next, we'd make our way over to feed the goats, chickens, and sheep. What a dream to wake up and be able to pet baby goats for all of us! Don’t miss out on the horse-riding trail option. We all got to meet their (32) different horses and learn about each animal. Then we took to the trails, around a 45-minute ride through their acreage, ups and down's on all different terrain. An exciting but very peaceful & easy for beginner trail ride. One of the best riding experiences I've had to date. Our tour guide, Cole, is a gem and very knowledgeable. Shout out to Jaxon for being so patient with our kids and letting him explore is inner cowboy. All of the staff has been riding their entire lives, it was like visiting their home as foreign exchange students lol. They hosted us with such grace and compassion, as novice equestrian lovers, the staff was patient while we asked all the questions and above all SAFE. Lisa and Dale created a picturesque vision, and it’s only the beginning. We will be back years to come!

Amazing Experience!!! Clean campgrounds and bathrooms. Plus there’s a game room! If you like animals this is a place for you to stay, we couldn’t get enough of hearing the goats talking. Also there’s a friendly cat named Casper on the premises. We tented on are site so if you aren’t people that can’t due without power I recommend bringing an amp adapter (30amp to 15amp) but if you’re in a RV you are all set with electricity!! We already had one from previous camping. Plus there’s water on each site. We were coming from Michigan so that was a nice shock to us. Not the norm at Michigan campgrounds. Also there free firewood provided at each site. Our trip was only supposed to be 3 night stay but we had to book an extra night. We just loved the area. It’s a family owned establishment and the owners were amazing, very friendly and understanding. We needed a jump on our car the morning we left and Dale didn’t even hesitate to help us. Just jumped right in on getting the jumper cables. We recommend this campground over staying at the State Park. You get a different experience of camping that you can’t get anywhere else. We our already talking about when we will come back down for our next trip.
