Wonderful Experience
Staying at Windsor Woods was a wonderful experience. When we arrived, the host, John, allowed us to pick out our site. We chose the last site by the creek and it was amazing. The site was well kept, private and included access to a beautiful creek. John was very helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed hiking on his property and snorkeling in the creek. Would recommend this experience to all :)

Pretty views of babbling creek
My wife and I camped on site #6. We were met and led quickly to it and asked if we needed anything. John swing by and introduced himself...nice guy.
The spot was well mowed and right on the creek. Plenty of shade and area to setup multiple tents. Lots of wildlife...we saw lots of birds, an armadillo, frogs, a huge turtle, and one snake swim by.
The spot is secluded and you can’t see other spots or the lodge from it. We waded up and down the creek and even caught a few tiny bass. Good place to toss a lawn chair and a cooler for the afternoon. Note this is not a place with running water or electric.
Pros:
• Pretty 1.5 hour drive from Nashville on Natchez Trace Parkway
• Clean, private spot in nature
• Awesome views
• You can hear the creek... quite relaxing
Cons:
• Zero cell service if you have Verizon... when I mean zero, I mean you have to drive 20+ minutes to get a bar. If you are trying to coordinate with others or use gps to find spot, you need to make plans.
• A little on the pricey side at $40/night. Not too bad if you devide it out among the max 8 allowed, but for just 2 of us a little steep.
• As with most sites along creeks, it is in a flood-plain. You would just want to confirm the edge of field and spots are dry enough to camp on prior to booking. Also keep an eye on weather.
I recommend it and will be back with some friends.

A number of sites to choose from here and a BEAUTIFUL creek to play in that is so clear you wont have any problems looking at the tiny fish and searching for cool rocks. We stayed in the very back site which had amble privacy and great access to the creek. The view at sunset was absolutely breathtaking! John was a great host and conversationalist. The pups that may wander to your camping site are all sweet as can be.
Don't forget to pack water shoes and a swimsuit!
