Lack of Communication
Our overall experience was negative because of some lack of communication and description. We arrived after dark at the campsite so we expected not to have the same view as others and for it to be a challenge finding the campsite but I was not expecting a gravel road that was unkept, areas with no signs, and no clear boundary of the property. One instance of this was the showers which were not clearly labeled or noted in the description of the campsite. I think that this campsite is a great place that just needs more care, signs, and a clearer description to match the caliber of listing that it was advertised to be.

Tranquility minutes from the city
Beautiful spot, convenient to Nashville but feels like you are far from the city. I stayed during a heat wave and the Highland Rim was 22 degrees cooler than Nashville. My 4 cylinder AWD handled the driveway well. I would recommend using Google Maps and download in advance because cell service is spotty in the approach to the property. Once on the property cell service was good. Michael was easy to communicate with before and during my stay.

Camp Nashville Highland Rim
Very secluded & quiet. Make sure you read the full description. Primitive sites with an outhouse. The shower is set up between 2 trees with hot water available. 4WD is recommended. It is completely surrounded by trees. One review stated that it was a nice view of Nashville but I don’t see hope that’s possible.

Camp Nashville Highland Rim
This was my first time car camping (heck, even just regular campung) ever. Overall, nice camp ground area. I was worried about making it up the hill because I'm from Louisiana, land of flatness, but after boltering some courage I made it. There's an outhouse with t.p. and water available. Google does take you to directly to the gravel driveway (as described), I just wish there was a marker at least for us novices and because I wanted to make sure i was in the right area and not trespassing. Overall, it was very pretty and peaceful (I saw a doe and her 2 fawns!) and I would recommend others stay here.

Peaceful just needs some cleanup
2 decent spots but I would recommend cleaning the junk out. Old cars piled up plus further in to the last site there was jumper cables and a metal table plus other junk. Reminded me of a scene from a horror movie. Other than that the site we picked was cleared out and nice.
