this is first time at camp faith. this place is a gem. everything done to accommodate a camper and more. the community kitchen and bathrooms are very clean and well stocked. could have brought a tent and sleeping bag and nothing else. I stayed in tent 10. got the idea reading the reviews. it is a great site. paid 40 plus taxes and it was worth it. thanks

Cozy mountain cabin
We stayed in the mountain top cabin and loved it. The cabin itself had everything we needed. We cooked all our meals there and only needed to bring the food. The view of the lake and the sunrise in the morning was spectacular. Tons of games in and outside the cabin to entertain. The deck with the fire pit was great. The driveway to get up there was intense but no problem for my Subaru. Clear directions and communication with the owner.

Camp Faith is amazing. Darren, the owner, is such a nice guy. He really cares about this place and it shows. You’ll see him around taking care of things and making sure everyone’s comfortable.
We stayed at Site #16 right next to a small waterfall. The water sound was so relaxing. We slept great. The site was clean and well set up with good privacy.
Darren works really hard and is super friendly. He’s exactly the kind of host you want when you’re camping. We’re definitely coming back and want to try Site #10 next time.
If you want a quiet, peaceful place to camp with a host who actually cares, this is it. Camp Faith is a really special place and Darren makes it even better.

This spot is a gem. Our tent was right by the creek with the most peaceful views and the sound of the water was amazing. The host was super kind, and everything was clean and comfy. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Our stay in the mountaintop cabin exceeded all expectations and was a trip we will remember fondly for years to come. Very secluded and peaceful, clean and well stocked cabin with all the amenities you could need. Excellent communication and hospitality. The driveway was no joke, but my minivan handled it well.
My husband and 2 dogs had plenty to do over a long weekend with the lake right there and mountains nearby. As well as relaxing by the fire pit overlooking the river.

Darren has gone above and beyond to make Camp Faith a great destination for camping. Great amenities including full kitchen and bathrooms. Perfect proximity to Watauga Lake as well as a variety of fun hikes in the area. Will definitely be back.

A small piece of paradise. A peaceful setting where you have more than you will ever need. Darren was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs were met. A man with a servant heart and attitude, has created the perfect environment to get away. Like many others, I wish it could have lasted longer.

We always have an incredible time at Camp Faith! Darren is one of the best hosts we’ve ever encountered and has made such a positive impact on his community since hurricane Helene. We got to enjoy some down time with nature all while having a fully equipped bathhouse and community area (including a pool table!), and a comfortable cabin. We would recommend Camp Faith to anyone and everyone! :)

Had a great experience at Camp Faith! Nice space for tent camping by the creek and the cabins are so cute! Clean bathroom facilities and Darren went above and beyond stocking the kitchen area with spices, baking/cooking supplies, and even crock pots. He made everything very convenient. The site is packed with fun activities for the family too!

Darren was an excellent host! He was informative, friendly, and communicative. The campground had so many activities that we never even left the campground. The facilities at this campground are the best equipped I have ever seen! The hike to the waterfall was beautiful! We will be back!

The cabin was so clean and cozy! Perfect for our trip with our friends. The common area is equipped with everything you could need to whip up dinner and also play games and ping pong as well. Will 100% be back! 😊

Cozy primitive cabin 2
Camp Faith was the perfect weekend getaway for myself and my triplet teenage boys. The cabin was beautiful with plenty of space and extremely clean and the private bathroom was perfect. The common area was wonderfully laid out with everything you could think of plus more to make it feel like home. There were also plenty of games and activities to keep my boys active, while I enjoyed relaxing on the deck listening to the river. Darren has created such a beautiful camp and he was the perfect host making sure we weren't in need of anything. We can't wait to visit again!

Camp Faith is absolutely beautiful!! It’s the nicest campground I’ve ever stayed at and that’s saying a lot! We hiked to the little waterfall on the property and slept beside the babbling brook like in a fairy tale. Darren was a delightful host! Can’t wait to plan our next trip ⛺️🦋

Very comfortable country cottage. Just about everything you would need as far as kitchen is concerned. Has air fryer, carafe & cup combo, toaster and cookware and utensils. I would recommend this place to friends and family!!!!

What a wonderful location! We had a beautiful camping spot next to the creek. Great facilities to cook, shower, visit and play games. Darren is an amazing host. Close to Watauga Lake for picnicking or boating. We will definitely visit again.

Our family stayed at the cabin and we enjoyed our stay! Everything was clean, and the cabin was well stocked. The property was gorgeous. The bath house and porch area was amazing…would definitely go back to camp…in a tent or cabin!

We loved our stay at Camp Faith. It is a beautiful place to camp! The cabin was spotless and comfortable for our family. The private bathroom in the lodge was very convenient. I appreciated the stocked kitchen available for campers to use. It had everything! This camp had many extras to make our stay enjoyable. Darren was a great host and we cannot wait to visit again!

Darren was an absolute pleasure and such an amazing host! The property was more than accommodating!! The kitchen had our own basket in the fridge and cabinet in the kitchen. We had our own key for our bathroom so you could store your shower stuff in there and keep it locked. The hike to the waterfall was difficult with two little kids, but BEAUTIFUL. Watauga lake was only 5 miles away and breathtaking. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots and spices and silverware; you don’t need to bring anything but your food and clothes! We will be back!!

Very nice site. A bit more private than some and it has a very nice location right on the creek with soothing small water cascades to lull you to sleep. It's shaded and only a short walk to the restroom and facilities.

We absolutely loved our stay in the yurt!! Definitely one of the coolest places we have camped! There was a trail to a waterfall right next to our site that was gorgeous. The sound of the creek was so soothing to read/sleep by. Darren, the host, was so accommodating and helpful. You can tell so much passion went into creating the vision for this property! We were able to fit 2 dog crates plus our stuff in the yurt, so very spacious. The dogs had the time of their life!!

This was the best camp site I could have chosen. I brought my teen daughter with me and she had a great time. The common areas are excellent, well cared for, and super clean! Campground is full of activities and great hike areas. Our host was great and you can tell he goes above and beyond for his guests!

If you want a top-notch camping trip, you've got to check out Camp Faith.
Darren, who owns it, couldn't be nicer or more down-to-earth. He really goes out of his way to make sure that you are comfortable and well taken care off .
The place is a gem, with tons of stuff to do from morning till night. Whether you're hitting the trails that are just a stone's throw away or chilling at the camp, you won't run out of things to do.
The bathrooms are AMAZING– think big, hot showers and loads of room to move around.
Then there's the kitchen. It's big, has everything you could need for cooking, and there are games to play while you're at it, which is pretty cool.
Darren's nailed it with the little things that make camping easy and comfy. :)
And you've got to meet Gunner, Darren's dog. The friendliest four-legged pal around
