Camp Faith is a new Faith-based campground located in Northeast Tennessee, in a small town called Butler. There are 81 acres to explore during your stay. So far, there are 5 primitive cabins as well as a 2 bedroom 1-1/2 bath cottage. We plan on building more as the campground grows. There will be 11 rv sites with full hook-ups very soon. There are several primitive tent sites thru out, most of which are creek side. Only 5 minutes from Sugar Hollow Retreat. Amenities include: Outdoor- Axe throwing, disc golf, tetherball, horseshoes, cornhole, darts, ring & hook games, board games, firepits (firewood included), walking trails, kayaks, and more... Bathhouse- Full-size bathrooms, fully stocked common kitchen, indoor/outdoor seating, coin operated laundry, ping pong, board games, stocked bookshelf, tv's w/dvd's, free ice (ice machine on bathhouse deck), event-sized grill, pizza oven, gas fireplace, and more... If your tent is bigger than 13' x 13', you are welcome to pitch your tent anywhere on the property you like. price can be adjusted accordingly. The bathhouse less than 100' away with 6 full bathrooms, a fully stocked common kitchen, and a laundry room with coin-operated washer/dryers. Each bathroom is 8' x 10' so there is plenty of room to get ready for your day or prepare for bed. 4 of the bathrooms are for the exclusive use of the primitive cabin guests. The remaining 2 are for the tent campers. Relax on the bathhouse deck with a gas fireplace and rustic seating. There is an event-sized 8 burner propane grill as well as a propane pizza oven. There is an outdoor tv, ceiling fans, a Bluetooth party speaker w/microphone, an ice machine, and more. Inside, there are also tables to eat at, a couch to relax and watch tv with several DVD's, a stocked bookshelf, board games for all ages, a ping pong table, and a brochure rack to plan your destinations off property. The common kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal. There are plenty of amenities for campers. There are 4 axe throwing lanes, a knife throwing lane, 2 steel tip dart boards, 2 ring and hook games, tetherball, horseshoes, cornhole, and more. We will soon be adding a sand volleyball court, a rock climbing wall, an outdoor movie screen and more. There is a common firepit on a small island surrounded by the creek. Relax and meet your tent neighbors. Firewood is supplied. Starlink high-speed internet is provided as well. There are trout in the creek. There is also a small pond with a few different species of fish. Watauga Lake is across the street from the property. There are 104 miles of shoreline and beautiful scenery everywhere. 70% of the lake is in the National Forest so you will see lots of forest without the homes. There are 3 marinas nearby where you can rent a pontoon boat and explore the lake. There are a few public boat ramps nearby as well. If you want to bring a boat with you, I will make sure you have a space to park it during your stay. We always have an incredible time at Camp Faith! Darren is one of the best hosts we’ve ever encountered and has made such a positive impact on his community since hurricane Helene. We got to enjoy some down time with nature all while having a fully equipped bathhouse and community area (including a pool table!), and a comfortable cabin. We would recommend Camp Faith to anyone and everyone! :)

Had a great experience at Camp Faith! Nice space for tent camping by the creek and the cabins are so cute! Clean bathroom facilities and Darren went above and beyond stocking the kitchen area with spices, baking/cooking supplies, and even crock pots. He made everything very convenient. The site is packed with fun activities for the family too!

Camp Faith was the perfect weekend getaway for myself and my triplet teenage boys. The cabin was beautiful with plenty of space and extremely clean and the private bathroom was perfect. The common area was wonderfully laid out with everything you could think of plus more to make it feel like home. There were also plenty of games and activities to keep my boys active, while I enjoyed relaxing on the deck listening to the river. Darren has created such a beautiful camp and he was the perfect host making sure we weren't in need of anything. We can't wait to visit again!

Darren was an absolute pleasure and such an amazing host! The property was more than accommodating!! The kitchen had our own basket in the fridge and cabinet in the kitchen. We had our own key for our bathroom so you could store your shower stuff in there and keep it locked. The hike to the waterfall was difficult with two little kids, but BEAUTIFUL. Watauga lake was only 5 miles away and breathtaking. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots and spices and silverware; you don’t need to bring anything but your food and clothes! We will be back!!

Very nice site. A bit more private than some and it has a very nice location right on the creek with soothing small water cascades to lull you to sleep. It's shaded and only a short walk to the restroom and facilities.

Yurt was perfect with dogs!

We absolutely loved our stay in the yurt!! Definitely one of the coolest places we have camped! There was a trail to a waterfall right next to our site that was gorgeous. The sound of the creek was so soothing to read/sleep by. Darren, the host, was so accommodating and helpful. You can tell so much passion went into creating the vision for this property! We were able to fit 2 dog crates plus our stuff in the yurt, so very spacious. The dogs had the time of their life!!

Perfect for camping with kids

This was the best camp site I could have chosen. I brought my teen daughter with me and she had a great time. The common areas are excellent, well cared for, and super clean! Campground is full of activities and great hike areas. Our host was great and you can tell he goes above and beyond for his guests!

If you want a top-notch camping trip, you've got to check out Camp Faith. Darren, who owns it, couldn't be nicer or more down-to-earth. He really goes out of his way to make sure that you are comfortable and well taken care off . The place is a gem, with tons of stuff to do from morning till night. Whether you're hitting the trails that are just a stone's throw away or chilling at the camp, you won't run out of things to do. The bathrooms are AMAZING– think big, hot showers and loads of room to move around. Then there's the kitchen. It's big, has everything you could need for cooking, and there are games to play while you're at it, which is pretty cool. Darren's nailed it with the little things that make camping easy and comfy. :) And you've got to meet Gunner, Darren's dog. The friendliest four-legged pal around

The property was gorgeous and Darren was the most gracious host. It’s clearly evident that he put his heart and soul into creating a memorable experience for his guests whether they stayed in a cozy cabin or on one of the campsites. Our tent site was right up next to a small waterfall. My son and I slept like a baby’s. The bathhouse was amazing featuring nicer bathrooms than most hotels I’ve stayed in. The pictures on the hipcamp site were spot on accurate. Everything you see is what you get and then some. Spoiled me for all future camping trips. Can’t wait to bring my family back!

Loved the camp site. The campground has very nice community kitchen and bathroom with showers. They have thought of everything. Fall asleep to the peaceful creek sound. Only a few min to Watauga lake!

Amazing! Darren has created a beautiful space for friends to enjoy. He has thought of everything! Coffee maker in each cabin, check. Your own private bathroom, check. The campsite is clean and very well constructed with lots of fun things to do on site. The location is also perfect for hiking, waterfall exploring, & various other activities.
