Great spot with flowing water and rock features. The road is steep but navigable. My crew cab 2500HD 4x4 fit down it and came out just fine despite pouring down rain. Would go again.

This place is an 11/10 - pure GEM of a spot. Highly recommend an off road vehicle to get down/up, it's definitely true back road...but worth it. I will 1000% be returning again. As a reminder, LEAVE IT HOW IT LAWS.

It was such a great campsite with all the basics. It is a lovely property and would be so much fun in the summer to enjoy the water and hang out.
It was our first time camping with our 3 year old and 6 year old and had a great time. The walk down to the camp site is a bit steep but manageable.

This campsite is always a 10/10. The waterfall is amazing and I love all of the sites I've stayed at so far. It's an amazing spot.

Spectacular property! Primitive camping at its best. Great example of Tennessee Cumberland plateau unique landscape & geography. Close to so many natural attractions and the local area equine culture. Rode horseback, swimming, cooled off in waterfalls, hiked into caves and picnicked under a natural arch millions of years old. Requires 4x4 to unload at campsites. Or use weapon the host provides. Well worth it. Scottie great host.

Super secluded & pretty!
The water was pretty low when we went, so we did not see a waterfall, but that's out of anyone's control.
He had string lights up around the campsite, firewood, and a canopy! It made the experience even better!

Breathtaking Waterfall & Campsite
Disconnect from everything! And get back to Nature!! All the fresh water! Swimming holes and plenty of creek beds to explore!! It rained while we were there but we barely noticed! Definitely pay extra for the big site!!!

Absolutely stunning property! Peaceful, quiet evenings. It was a pleasant surprise when we arrived and saw there was a grill, water and other items available for guests to use. We’ll definitely be back for another stay!

We absolutely loved tent camping on Scottie’s land! We booked the secluded site, and it was perfect for my birthday getaway. If you're bringing a dog, just a heads-up—there’s no easy way down to the waterfall except by a ladder, so my husband stayed up top with our pup while I went down to grab some photos. Luckily, she still got to splash around in the water at a few other spots, so she was a happy camper!

The campsite is absolutely beautiful with waterfalls, swimming holes, and a gorge to explore. Not crowded at all and feels private. I will definitely stay here again!

The land was beautiful and the host was amazing. Campsite accommodated our large party with plenty of space for our tents and hammocks. I would recommend if you do not have a 4x4 with a high ground clearance, do not bring your vehicle to the campsite, park above it. We did have someone blow out a tire on the way up. I would definitely recommend that you do not attempt it at all if it is or has been raining without a 4x4. I would definitely go again awesome place. Thank you Scottie.

Absolutely beautiful property. Falling asleep to the soft babbling of water was fantastic. Plenty of flat space for tent set up and also plenty of trees for hammocks and cover from weather. Host provided great directions, even though he wasn't there at our time of arrival we had zero issues finding it. Town is close enough that refilling on ice/beer/food was quick and easy.

Scottie's property was unreal!! The campsite was everything as described and more. My favorite part was having the soothing sound of the creek flowing as I fell asleep. Would most definitely come back and spend all day swimming and hanging out by camp, the property itself felt like your own private park with mini hiking trails. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, tranquil stay in the woods, this is the place to book.

Great spot. Has a sweet little setup already in place for folks(grill, tarp and picnic table). Will definitely stay again!! Tons of things to do! Could definitely stay a couple days an not be bored. Id give it a 8/10. My only issue is the 6 hr overlap in check in/check out. The listing says multiple spots I believe, but in reality, there's one awesome spot and one other so/so spot that'd be good for a couple, but if you're a group there's only one real spot. So it was kinda crappy when we arrived at like 1230 and there was a group of people setup and not leaving until after 3. Unless you wanna use their wagon, bring your 4x4 to get close

This is the most beautiful campsite I have ever seen! The incredible landscape of magnificent rock walls, gently flowing crystal clear-water stream, rock and cave formations and picture-perfect water fall are all RIGHT THERE where you set up camp! You don’t have to hike for miles to see these things. You can literally sit by the fire and look all around at these beautiful features. The path from the top of the hill down to the site is no joke…you absolutely need a 4x4 to get up or down it if you plan on parking next to the site. Scottie is a top-notch host and provides a heavy-duty cart to help bring supplies down the hill from the parking area up top. He also provides many other little amenities like a charcoal grill, covered area with tables and a bench (which came in clutch when we got a little downpour), covered camp toilet, among other conveniences. The site to the left is definitely the most scenic, and the site to the right is still amazing and has its own charm and beauty. The city of Jamestown is a ten-minute drive from the property and has a Walmart and some restaurants and gas stations if you need supplies.

What a unique HipCamp! Scottie was a gracious host and greeted us on arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. We were lucky enough to have the whole campground to ourselves. The property is extensive and has many places to explore or swim. The waterfall was gorgeous and the water was clear. We’ll indeed be back! Don’t try to drive down the hill unless you have a 4x4!

The site is AMAZING!! Cool outdoor kitchen and outhouse. The stream is GORGEOUS, waterfall is too pretty to describe in pictures. We had the best time and will be back!

Loved camping here! Such a beautiful and peaceful place. We had the entire campsite to ourselves and enjoyed everything. We had a 4 wheel drive vehicle and had no problem with getting down to the campsite. Highly recommend.

This campsite was the most amazing camp I’ve ever booked! We were all alone down the hill. It took some doing to get our stuff down there (I don’t have 4x4 in my little truck). A wagon was provided, but we found it easier to just carry our gear.
Many other places we went on this trip had been impacted by drought conditions such that waterfalls were not running. Not so here. The swimming hole was lovely and the falls were beautiful.
We were awestruck by the landscape as soon as we got down there. The tarp over the tables and the solar string lights were very nice touches, though the lights only stayed on briefly after nightfall.
We were in the area to visit Charit Creek Lodge and hike the Big South Fork trails and this campsite rivaled most of what we saw on our hikes. Our only regret was that we only booked one night. Next time, we would just stay here the whole time. A real gem!
