You can ride ATVs directly to the trails from the driveway. This is a glamp site with an A Frame and a detached full bathroom unit. Enjoy the luxuries of home with a hot shower, facilities and a cozy bed while camping and embracing nature. With a beautiful scenic view of the wooded area, you can enjoy a night on the patio with a fire pit, some yard games, the possibilities are endless. You are free to use the entirety of the property. Be careful outside (bugs, snakes, etc.) * Notice the trail to get down to the creek is a moderate difficulty trail and can be a little steep. There are neighbors nearby that can be seen from across the street. Also there are some friendly neighborhood dogs that may say hello, but shouldn’t cause any problems.Come and escape it all! Beautiful cabin in an okay location

Black Creek Glamping

The little cabin is just as quaint and beautiful as it appears in the photos. It is well maintained and has everything you need for a rustic but comfortable glamping experience. The hosts were very communicative and have done the best they can with the property. The cabin is strategically placed to face the woods which gives the illusion of privacy. The site is conveniently close to the Big South Fork National Forest and we had a beautiful hike on the honey creek loop trail. Highly recommend the hike. My husband and I did have some mixed feelings about the stay. It feels like a 5 star cabin with 5 star customer service on a 2.5 star property. If you are accustomed to renting a cabin at a campground with neighbors on the adjacent sites, you will probably have no issue. It feels kind of like a campground. I think we were just expecting more privacy. The property is in the middle of a residential street and the street is full of “keep out” and “no trespassing” signs so it doesn’t really give you a welcoming feeling. The neighbors were having a little get together the first night and were blasting country music. They did turn it off at a reasonable hour but it kind of ruined the remote feeling we were looking for. The neighbors are close enough that we could hear parts of their conversation when we were in the porch. Also, their dogs truly are obnoxious. The one dog was filthy and soaking wet from playing in the creek and jumped all over us.

A-Frame in the Woods

Black Creek Glamping

My daughter and I stayed here for a weekend in October and it was a wonderful Glamping experience! We really loved the property and having some simple luxuries (heat, hot shower, flush toilet, etc.) while still being in the woods. The A-Frame was simple but well-built, and we really loved how it opened up to the deck and the sun shined through the large window in the mornings, the full moon at night. The property felt relatively private, but there are neighbors to the right and across the road and a few dogs that like to hang around, one in particular that never seemed to leave. Overall, it was very peaceful, out in the country but close enough to town and lots of places to hike nearby. I would definitely recommend this place, for couples or solo campers looking for some R&R.
