Nested on a 20 acre wooded bluff overlooking Wright’s Bend on Center Hill Lake, Bear Bluff Retreat is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your vacation. Offering three 1 bedroom cabins and a full hook up RV site, you will find yourself in the perfect place to enjoy all that the surrounding area has to offer or just relax on site overlooking the water and soak in the views.. White County is the waterfall mecca of Tennessee. The abundant rivers, waterfalls and lakes offer outdoor opportunities including kayaking, hiking, fishing, boating, sightseeing, bird watching and more. Launch points are located within a few miles of the property. At nearby Rock Island State Park the Caney Fork River and Collins River converge at a hydroelectric dam where it then flows north to the main body of the lake past Bear Bluff Retreat. The retreat is abutted by 15-20 acre wooded parcels on either side. The property across the river is a large farm located on the outskirts of Smithville, TN to the west. In addition to Rock Island State Park there are several State Parks nearby featuring waterfalls including Burgess Falls, Great Falls, Fall Creek Falls and Cumberland Caverns. The closet city is Sparta, TN which is about 17 miles to the east. McMinnville, TN is about 22 miles south. Cookeville, TN is about 27 miles north. All of these cities offer a variety of restaurant and shopping options.We have one lake view full hook up site available for trailers, vans, 5th wheels and smaller motor homes. RV length cannot exceed 26' due to limitations for backing, parking and turning on our bluff. Site is limited to 2 adult guests. This lake view site has level parking with full hook ups that includes water, sewer, and 30 amp plug. All RV's must be fully self contained as we do not have bathrooms available. Tow vehicle must be disconnected to fit in the space. We cannot accommodate large motor homes or RV's due to our access road and turning limitations. Note: There are no public restrooms available so you must have an onboard functioning toilet and shower for your personal use.

TWIN Falls RV/Van Site

Wonderful site and hosts!

Curt and JoAnn were great hosts! The site is so peaceful and plenty of hiking is a short distance away. This was our first trip and we will definitely be back!

Center Hill Lake View RV Site

Almost Heaven…

Fortunate to have the opportunity to visit this place. It was breathtaking, in every way possible. Also, I visited nearby waterfalls and hiking trails. The most precious gems are off the beaten path… take every path you possibly can.

Bear Bluff Retreat

This place is definitely a hidden gem! We really enjoyed our stay here. It was peaceful with gorgeous views, plus dog friendly! There were full hook ups for our site (Twin Falls) which was a huge plus! The owner was super nice and patient with all of our questions as this was our first time using Hipcamp. The driveway was a little intimidating at first, but my husband handled it just fine hauling our 21 foot trailer. We were lucky and there weren’t any other campers so it felt more roomy! This was a perfect location for us to easily access all of the waterfalls in the area. Can’t wait to come back and bring our friends!
