We are close to many historic landmarks and attractions for all ages, ( 20 min to Deadwood* 20 min to Sturgis* 15 min to Spearfish Canyon* 45 min to Devils Tower* 45 min to Rapid City* 70 minutes to Mt. Wyatt's hideaway camp was a convenient stop on our multiday roadtrip. We were thrilled to have flushing toilets and hot water for our showers. There's also a cute creek that runs behind the campground and a train that didn't cause any issues at night. Arriving late at night, we messaged the hosts regarding checking in as we saw some reviewing noting that finding site can be challenging. While we received instructions for getting to the site, it would've been more helpful to get a map and useful info regarding the bathroom facilities and connecting to wifi. We did note that the campsites are incredible close together, but fortunately there weren't any other tent campers when we were there. If I were visiting when the campground is full, I'd definitely be concerned about noise and privacy and the campground can't hold as many sites as it has marked.

This campground is between a highway and a railroad track. The sites are too close together. The person next to us had a sewage leak which was terrible.

Grassed and treed and well maintained. Owners are super nice and helpful. Close to town. The truck noise from the away was a bit loud for me, but I am a light sleeper.

Everyone was very nice. Easy check in. Beautiful place by a river. Guests were friendly and quiet. The only negative was the road noise from the highway. If you have a camper, instead of a tent or you have great earplugs, it is a great place to go.
