Uncle B's farm is a small 11 acre hobby farm with a large vegetable garden, chickens, peafowl, guinea fowl, turkeys, a goat, dogs, and cats. There is an old quarried stone railroad bridge and a few short walking trails around the pond. The pond is at the back of the property where I have 6 dry camp sites listed as Uncle B's farm for tents or self contained RV's. All sites have partial to full shade and most have mature trees that will work for a hammock or tensile tent. All of the campsites have a firepit, some with cooking grates and all sites have a picnic table. The "shower shack" is shared by all guests and has 2 separate 3/4 baths with all modern plumbing. There is also a basic outdoor kitchen with a few portable grills as well as a sink with modern plumbing. Available at Uncle B's RV Camper site I have 3 RV sites with water and 30 Amp electrical hookups. My "Ready Set Camp" listing is a dome tent set up and furnished with 2 cots, table, and lamp as well as a match ready fire. The Barn loft apartment is a studio apartment with a small galley kitchen and private bath. Uncle B's farm has been voted Best Hip Camp to see in South Dakota for the 3rd time.... Come see why...

Nice place!

Uncle B and his crew were super kind and welcoming! campground was cute and clean. pizza dinner was great! farm animals, trails and small playground kept the kids happy…. very nice folks.

Warm welcomes and awesome vibes

Uncle B’s had that welcoming vibe you look for in a Hipcamp, and then some! S’mores kit on arrival was a nice touch, and the property had beauty to spare. Brian was incredibly welcoming despite the fact that I showed up later than expected (check those time zones heading east!). There was a plethora of amenities I wasn’t able to take advantage of due to the brevity of my stay, but it was nice to know what was available, and the host was communicative and inviting as well as helpful with navigating the area. Showers were clean and hot, and the site itself was accommodating and spacious with a fire pit and table. The little lake made for a nice stroll (ducks!) and there was plenty of wood available for a fire. I had a good time hanging out with other campers on the property, and Brian’s hospitable and friendly nature really made this an awesome place to stay. The only downside was my limited time there!

Uncle B's Farm

Camping with a kitty!

We had the perfect spot for the nite. Brian greeted us when we arrived and gifted us some bounty from his garden, fixings for smores and some sweet corn we cooked up with our dinner. We had a kitty entertain us well. Nice quiet nite, bathroom was very clean. Definitely would stay here again if in the area. Thanks Brian!

Ready Set Camp

Felt so lucky to get to spend a little time here while passing through, such a lovely space. Sites are nicely spaced, bathrooms are fantastic. I really appreciated all the little details. We will return again. :)

Barn Loft apartment

What a cool unique place to stay! We were headed across the country and just needed a place to rest our heads for one night, and this place did not disappoint. Gorgeous Midwest sunset and sunrise, fun animals, and a cute cozy loft. What more could you need!? And the host was super friendly and even gave us some veggies from his garden. We’ll hopefully be back soon!

Uncle B's RV Camper Site's

This was a perfect stop for my husband and I on our way through South Dakota. Brian has a very nice set up and is extremely welcoming to his guests. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.
