These tent sites are located in a campground, bordered by the Black Hills National Forest. While staying here you have access to free hot showers, flush toilets, a dish washing station, a charging stations for electronics, a game room and a laundry room.

Tent camping near a pine forest
Loved our stay!
Our family of 4 (plus our dog Redford) enjoyed every minute of our stay. Polite and friendly staff greeted us and escorted us to our site. The campground is conveniently located near Jewel cave, Mount Rushmore, and other attractions. It was quiet, clean, and well spaced out. Lots of amenities put it over the top (laundry room, game room, firewood deliveries, and charging stations to name a few). A must for tent camping families!

Great spot. Minutes to custer and custer state park. Jennifer and her staff are extremely friendly and brought the fire wood right to us. Tent sites especially are farthest from the hwy and next to a field and so most private and quiet. Away from the RVs.

We love Big Pine!
Hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable, and gave great recommendations for things to do in the area! Campsite was spacious and clean, amenities were very appreciated as well!

Awesome campsite. Bathrooms were clean, showers were warm. Office was responsive and brought out firewood asap. Very friendly staff, would definitely recommend if you’re staying in SD!

Great space! The campground had a lot of folks at it but the camping area was spaced out well. They had the cleanest bathroom I’ve ever seen and the shower was hot.

30 AMP FULL HOOK-UP
This is one of the nicest campgrounds we've visited, and we've visited a lot! The setting was beautiful, with pine trees all around, and good privacy. Excellent access to major sites, including the Crazy Horse Memorial and Mt. Rushmore, as well as beautiful nature. Hiking trails start on site. No noise level at all. Everything was very clean, both the washrooms and showers as well as the picnic tables and site. The host, Jennifer, and the staff were super nice and friendly. We hope to return!
