A superb Hipcamp experience! The campsites are set in the woods, shaded and level, lots of birdlife to enjoy, and at #5 we had a view of the llamas and horses several times each day. The community building has spa-level showers and amenities, squeaky clean, fully equipped kitchen, TV room, game tables, and lending library, and great wifi. Heath and Shannon stock the fridge offering goat milk and flavored creamer, homemade goat cheese, fresh eggs, frozen lamb cuts, local jams. And what delightful folks they are - we watched the milking operation in the evening (could have had hands-on experience) and learned so much about their life on the farm, their love for their critters and their appreciation of the land.. Really fascinating. Recommend this camping experience without any hesitation. Just an excellent experience. And they recommended Horatio's for ice cream in Custer, on our way from Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse - don't miss that treat!
