Our private glamping units offer luxury hotel amenities plus the use of a shared guest house and detached camp ground style restrooms. Explore over 60 acres of privately owned forest then recharge with a farm fresh meal. From your private glamping unit or RV/tent site to the shared guest house and restrooms we are confident that our property will exceed your expectations. Your stay will begin with a quick tour of the property and then you will be shown to your luxurious private accommodations or to your camping site. All of our glamping units are recently remodeled and well equipped with queen size Sleep Number beds, 32" smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime, free WiFi, Keurig coffee makers with complimentary coffee and tea, Amazon Echo with Sirius XM and Amazon Music, luxury linens, Google Nest smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, ring doorbells, and a telescope. The detached and shared guest restrooms feature granite countertops, massage shower heads, plush towels, soft close toilet seats, and multiple showers, restroom stalls, and sinks for your convenience. All guests have access to a shared guest house with a well equipped kitchen, multiple dining tables, living room, and paid laundry facility. We are a farm to table property and you will have the option to buy farm fresh eggs, lamb, beef, goat milk, goat cheese, and more! Included with your paid stay is the Opulent Acres agritourism animal experience where you will have the opportunity to interact with our horses, llamas, alpacas, sheep, goats, rabbits, and other critters. I can’t say enough good things about the stay here. Check in was super easy, feeding the animals was such a fun experience. The shared amenities were fantastic. Both hosts were so friendly and helpful! Cannot wait to come back!

Spoiled Camper

If you want to feel spoiled this is the place for all campers. The common house is so nice and clean. A great place to relax, cook, shower, connect with wifi or do your laundry. If you want to meet with the farm animals you can do that as well. Finally went out the last night of our stay and met them. It’s completely optional but makes you realize all the effort and commitment Heath and Shannon have to their animals and ranch. We also enjoyed a couple bike trips on the Mickelson rails to trails, the town of Custer with several good restaurants and trip to Hot Springs for mineral water spa experience. And the main reason for our trip was visit to Mt. Rushmore. This location gave us all these experiences without being in the touristy areas. Drive to Mt. Rushmore was about 45 min. Custer 20 min. Hot Springs 30 min. Farm barn 5 min via 4 wheeler!

This was a really lovely spot. Shannon and Heath are very kind and accommodating. The bunkhouse is lovely. The showers were great. We had a great time! And the stars were spectacular!

Opulent Acres provided a thoroughly enjoyable Black Hills camping experience. Great location. Beautiful ranch with llamas, goats, and bunnies. The kitchen/shower experience was spectacular including Shannon’s pumpkin spice goat milk cream. Highly recommend!
