The resort is located off Highway 385, the main thoroughfare through the Black Hills National Forest, yet is peacefully nestled in a quiet valley, completely surrounded by national forestland with a tranquil year-round creek meandering throughout the property. Rock outcroppings, hiking trails and offroad trails are within footsteps of every cabin. The serene space is an outdoor sanctuary centrally-located within 20 miles of Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Memorial, Needles Eye Tunnel / Highway, and Black Elk Peak. Your adventure will also take you near Hill City, Keystone, Custer, and Historic Deadwood. Drive a little further, and end up in Badlands National Park, Wind Cave National Park, Jewel Cave National Monument, Sturgis, or Devils Tower National Monument. There are 8 open creek side RV sites (Sites 1 -8). This 3BR 1BA cabin sleeps a total of 6 adults with the possibility of a couple children sleeping on a Murphy bed. There is a large master bedroom with a brand-new king-size bed and a Murphy cabinet, two other bedrooms with full beds, along with a large walk-through bathroom with shower. The cabin also includes a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a vaulted-ceiling dining area, a large, covered deck with seating/dining and a propane grill along with a private fire pit. Coffee maker, linen/bedding, bath towels, cooking utensils, pots & pans, and tableware are all provided. This cabin has heat & air conditioning, a television with streaming services (Netflix, etc.), and on-site coin- operated laundry.

Fantastic location for going to the national parks and the state parks and everything. Garrett was a very, very helpful. Help me get into my slots and it was a perfect spot. It was absolutely lovely at the location is beautiful. And then Garrett suggested a couple of places to go to and check out while I was in the park and he was spot on the needles. Everything was all just fantastic. It was a great great great ship thank you very much

Beautiful campsite next to a creek. Nice grassy areas for you to set up your tent. Most spots had picnic tables. I had a slight hiccup during my stay but communicated with my host and he made sure I was taken care of. Would gladly recommend this well taken care of Campground!

What a beautiful space! We enjoyed a quick night here after a long day of travel, and I don’t know who enjoyed it most: us or the dogs. Just behind the campground we walked some of the trails of the Black Hills National land, and when we came back to camp, we appreciated the clean campground. The full hookups were appreciated, and the camp spaces large and spacious.

We were grateful for Garret instruction before we arrived. Found out how peaceful it was with no phone service. There was internet. Our stay was late in the season.. Woke up to see snow on the ground. The place was beautiful. We have already started talking about returning. In warmer weather next time. Thanks for the nice place to stay.

Great spot! Host was helpful. Good jumping off point to explore the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, etc. The bathrooms were clean, and tent area had plenty of space.

Garret was an incredible host. He made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. The grounds are tidy and the scenery is pretty. There is ZERO service for T-mobile, AT&T, or Verizon. However, the wifi on the grounds is decent. When I was having trouble with my connection, Garret offered that I could sit in one of the empty cabins for a bit to be able to work. This place is very close to Sheridan lake which is beautiful! I would definitely recommend.

Great instructions on how to get to the campground and now to use the campsite. Kind of expensive ($40) for what you get - a portoilet is all you get besides a fire ring and a shaky picnic table.

Very nice and clean. Full hookup for rv. Bathrooms and showers nice and clean but no security for showers, curtain only for privacy, no door with lock. No phone or internet or Wi-Fi service but we don’t mind that. Overall very nice.

It was a great place! Super location, near all the area attractions. Great spots for both rv and tent campers. Bathrooms were clean and stocked. Would definitely stay again !

My husband and I met up with my in-laws for an RV trip in South Dakota. We had two spots next to one another down by the creek. It was absolutely perfect for us and our dog, Morti. We were able to play ball with Morti in the open field and take her for a walk on the trail through the forest. We enjoyed sitting outside at night looking up at the stars by the fire. There is no cel reception or TV, which was kind of nice to be able to just sit and talk instead of watching television. The wi-fi was ok, but that's too be expected. The location is amazing and the sound of the water flowing in the creek at night was so peaceful. We did see a few small snakes in the field and trail, but nothing harmful. I highly recommend this place for your Mt. Rushmore adventure.

Tent camping 2 nights here was wonderful. Shower house was clean, land was very well maintained. Loved seeing the cows run around the fences! Would highly recommend.

Away from the noise and a beautiful setting with great walking trails. Garret stopped in to say Hi after we came back from a day outing. Very nice guy…gave us all kinds of recomendadtions for places to go etc.
