Coyote Crossing is a beautiful valley just south of the Great Black Hills of South Dakota. If you want to experience the prairie, we have grassland, wooded areas, and even sand and sage spots, if that's what you're into! There's many acres of trees along Horsehead Creek to explore with many cottonwoods over 100 years old and hidden groves. Our RV rental and dry camp sites all come with access to our gathering area with the chickens and goats for live entertainment! Feeding the goats and gathering your own eggs is an option here! There is an outside bathroom, horseshoe pits, fire pit and covered seating in case the weather gets moody. Just 5 miles from the property are all the water activities you can imagine at the Angustora Reservoir and Recreation area with beaches, docks, and multiple eating establishments. 10 miles away is the beautiful town of Hot Springs where you can find bones at the Mammoth Site or take a dip in the healing waters of Moccasin Springs or the historic Evan's Plunge! Just beyond town is Wind Cave Nat'l Park where you can see buffalo and other wildlife. Mt Rushmore is only 30 miles further, along with the Crazy Horse Memorial! There's just too many sites to explore in our area to list! If you're into gambling, Prairie Winds Casino is just a 20 minute drive. 42 miles to the south is Fort Robinson State Park where you can visit the museum and explore the old army post. Chadron State Park is also there, along with Toadstool Park. We do harvest our alfalfa up to 3 times each season. So if you'd like to see how that is done, inquire on the timing!

I cannot begin to explain how generous Andrea was during our stay. The land was beautiful, the animals adorable and overall had an incredible time!!! I highly highly recommend this camp!

Andrea's land is incredibly quiet, which is amazing for this city person. Everything on the property and in the 5th wheel was easy to find, well communicated and the accommodations were comfortable, clean, just what you want after a long day on the road. Fun to be around chickens and goats, and we had Dora the friendliest kitty for company. Andrea was the perfect host.

We loved our stay at Coyote Crossing! Andrea is so friendly and the camper was clean and comfortable with great homey touches. We had so much fun feeding the farm animals and swaying in the hammock. The bath house has a beautiful spa-like shower and was a great option as a second bathroom. Directions were also clear and the location is very convenient.

Andrea was amazing and so kind to us! She responds very quickly and you can tell she puts in a ton of effort into making the space homey for people coming to visit. We camped in our car at her dry site and felt incredibly safe and taken care of. We loved being able to see all the goats, chickens, ducks, and two kitties Fredrick and Dora! 🥰 The bathhouse was very clean and comforting as well. Would 100% recommend coming to stay here!

Coolest camper! Right next to Andrea’s home, but we turned off the AC and opened the windows and never even heard the hay mower start or a car door slam. So quiet we slept in. Heard coyotes calling just as we layed down to sleep:). Big comfy bed, coffee, running water… all the perks! Grandson LOVED visiting with the goats, chickens, ducks, and Tatanka the Toad in the morning. Andrea was very sweet and helped us route a couple of nearby locations. The Mammoth Site was spectacular, as was Chief Crazy Horse monument.
