Hello and welcome to the peaceful countryside! Proud to be named HipCamp's 2022 Top 10 Properties! We are a luxury hunting lodge here in South East South Dakota and love offering people the chance to camp, park, and explore our property! We are fifth generation farmers and are so proud of our farm and of South Dakota. Ask us about guides for the way out west to the Black Hills. We have 10 acres to share and are excited to host you! On property you can find, corn crib swings, a winding enchanted path to a gazebo perfect for sunsets, a gravity wagon basketball game, a romantic lit pavillion, a balcony overlooking both Iowa and Nebraska, and fields of corn and beans! Bathrooms can be found centrally on the property, we have 2 womens, 2 mens and one family/ handicap accessible. Now with Shower AND WIFI!

Sunset Camp
Camping at Blue Tin Ranch was one of the best camping experiences we have ever had. Our expectations were high with all the recognitions we read about when booking. However, we could still not have imagined how accommodating, fun, and beautiful it would really be. For tent camping, we had the pick of two different, beautiful grassy areas. Everything is nicely compact, so a short walk to the very comfortable shower/bathroom area and after dark the elegant lighted walking path was magical and the swings hanging in the lighted corn crib were a nice added activity. We faced some incoming summer storms, but were so confident from learning the options on where to safely take shelter as needed. My husband and I camped with our dog and young adult son and all agreed it was the perfect overnight for our long travels.

Took my wife here for four days for our two year anniversary, and my only problem is, that I didn’t find this place two years ago!!! Would have been an amazing place to get married!!!

A beautiful site with an amazing price. The ranch was incrediblly scenic and peaceful. Kelley was a polite and accommodating host and I can't recommend this site enough. Whenever I'm in South Dakota I'll be sure to stop by again.

First Hipcamp experience
The property is beautiful and well maintained. The hosts are very helpful and accommodating. The shower was hot the restrooms clean and well stocked. They even accommodated an extra night last minute. We will definitely stay here again. We plan to stay the Airbnb at some point as well. Thank you for the great stay!
