Bear Den is a small camp with 3 Glamping Tents, 2 cabins and shower house. Outdoor spaces for relaxing. We are located approximately 5 miles from Custer State Park, 11 miles from Keystone the Gateway to Mt. Rushmore in the beautiful southern Black Hills. Cabins have electricity, our tents do not have electricity. All sites including bring your own tent sites have access to the shower house and outdoor grilling areas. Pick a spot to pitch your own tent, one tent per space. If you have 2 tents please book 2 sites. We have 3 spots cleared. Hang your hammock in trees around the property. This option includes all access to the shower house and outdoor grilling areas!

clean, safe and very hospitable!
Not only was Tammy a great host with a great heart, but her cabins and glamping "tents" were awesome! But, truth be told... my favorite part might be that the bathrooms were clean and spacious. We felt very safe and comfortable here. Our family HIGHLY recommends staying at any of Tammy's camping experiences. Tammy, you have the gift of hospitality...thank you for using it!

Needed the rest, it was perfect.
Camping at bears den was absolutely wonderful. Tammy is a gracious host and did everything possibly to make it feel like home. It was quiet and everyone was a joy to be around. Blessings to all and would recommend it too other campers, and hope to come back again myself.

Awesome camping spot!
My partner and I were greeted when we arrived at the campsite and shown around immediately by Tammy. She was super warm and welcoming! The bathrooms were super clean, the grilling areas were great and it was very quiet and felt safe. Thank you for a great night!

We're planning to go back...
Really liked the small campground, the grass covered tent site, the bathrooms, showers, the covered eating space with gas grill machines... Our kids had space to run without disturbing anyone... The night sky with Milky Way was the cherry on the cake... The price for tent site was very good too... Tammy, the host, ensures everyone feels welcomed and has a great time... Thank you!
