The Briar Patch Bike Farm is set on a fourth-generation cattle farm in Westminster, South Carolina—an area once recognized by National Geographic as one of the “50 of the World’s Last Great Places.” Rooted in family tradition and a love for the land, the Briar Patch is dedicated to connecting people of all ages to the outdoors in meaningful ways. Through a mix of adventure and education, we offer a space where guests can explore, learn, and create lasting memories—whether that’s on the trails, around the farm, or under a wide-open sky. If you time your stay right, you may even get the chance to enjoy some of our locally raised beef—finished on grass and spent grain from a nearby brewery.

Wake up to farm views, fresh air, and easy access to our growing trail system right on the property. Whether you’re here to ride, relax, or just unplug, there’s plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the land. When you’re ready to explore beyond the farm, Oconee County is packed with adventure. You’re just minutes from Stumphouse Tunnel and Issaqueena Falls, as well as the Wild and Scenic Chattooga River for whitewater rafting and kayaking (we’re happy to recommend great local outfitters). ChauRam Park is right down the road with a suspension bridge, riverside hiking trails, and swimming spots. Plus, lakes Jocassee, Keowee, and Hartwell are all within easy reach for a day on the water. Keep it simple, make it your own, and enjoy a laid-back camping experience with plenty to explore nearby.

You’ll be parked near the heart of the farm, not far from our Lowboy Trailer stage and trail access. Step out your door and ride straight onto our growing network of bike trails, with options for all levels—XC, flow, dirt jumps, and downhill. No pressure, just ride what feels good. Want to explore further? You’re minutes from Stumphouse Tunnel, Issaqueena Falls, ChauRam Park, and the Chattooga River for whitewater adventures. Plus, lakes Jocassee, Keowee, and Hartwell are all close by for a day on the water. Simple setup, great views, and plenty to do—or not do at all. Guests also enjoy access to our ever-expanding network of bike trails, featuring cross-country (XC), flow, dirt jump, and downhill options. Whether you're a seasoned rider or just getting started, there’s something here for every skill level! Come experience the laid-back charm of farm life paired with the thrill of the trails.
