Lowcountry Camping near Beach
Super cool spot! We camped right next to the pond and the horses and we were the only ones camping there. Right next to a very historical town and on an island with lots of culture. Would definitely visit again, wish I had more time to explore!

Peaceful Night!
Great experience tent camping here! No other campers, so I had my pick of the spots. Fun little sign greeted you as you arrive. Rolled in just after dusk so didn’t get a chance to fully take in the scenery until I woke up. Frogs were croaking until darkness set in, then they tapered off. Woke up to deer frolicking and two of the horses greeting me along the fence!

Plenty of branches and wood around to make getting a fire started easier.

Great place. Next to a little pond - didn't get a chance to fish it. A little small if you're looking for privacy and there are others there. We were the only ones there so it was perfect. Workers and owner we met were super friendly and welcoming.

Pretty location, but no privacy.
Decent spot that was close to several attractions - beaches, eateries, downtown. If you actually need to take a shower, make other arrangements, because the pond is not a feasible option as it is very shallow and there is no privacy. The frogs were a bit loud when trying to fall asleep (we know that’s not the hosts fault), and be mindful that because this is a horse farm, there are more flies during the day. There also was not much privacy between sites.

Such a beautiful property! So private and the nearby beach was absolutely perfect. Not at all crowded even in a holiday weekend! Close enough to parks for us to find plenty to do on our trip. We loved our stay!

Private and interesting place to stay.
My friends and I rented this campsite for a bachelor party because the state park was booked up and really enjoyed our stay. The location was very private, except for the owner's cars coming and going occasionally we were the only people we saw.
Location is good, two minutes from a local beach, 10 minutes from Hunting Island State park, and about 20 minutes from Beaufort. Also some really tasty of local restaurants with in 10 minutes.
Keep in mind that this is just a farm so there will be no access to showers or toilets. But if you're looking to rough it, it's a great place to stay.
Especially enjoyed the horses!

1. Someone talking on a loudspeaker late at night.
2. A party was happening nearby from midnight to 2 am.
3. Area was ok besides that

Nice large property & located very close to a scenic beach that's good for walking. Lots of space for your site. Nice horses, deer and the best Frog Chorus near the Pond at night like non other anywhere !

Camping on Anne's horse farm was so dreamy! We set up our tent by the pond and listened to the frogs sing us to sleep every night. We had the place to ourselves most of the nights we were there. Water was easily accessible and Anne recommended a great free public beach just a 2 minute drive from the campsite. Hunting island is also totally worth the entry fee! ($8 per person)

Wonderful Experience
I loved the camping experience on Sarah's land. I spent the first night alone but when the other campers showed up, it made the experience so much better. Went fishing, Saw the Forest Gump driveway, went to the Gullah Festival. This was one of the best weekend getaways that I have had in a very long time.

Lowcountry Camping near Beach
It's a nice quiet location, and 9 mins to the hunting island state park, 20 mins to restaurant and shopping center.
There were 5 tents there during my staying, I can hear every conversations, and someone had this machinery noise throughout the two nights I was there...
I also had lots of bites and ticks on me, not sure it's on the camp ground or in the park where I visited. Hesitate to go back

So serene
So serene!! Drinking water & lots of shady spots for tents / hammocks / vans! Quick walk to a free beach along the bay (there’s not any free beaches in this area alongside the normal beach - not a bay - you have to pay $8/ day per person) but this spot i is close to a beach on the bay
