Sanctuary

The most beautiful site we've ever camped at. We're in a 37 ft class A. No trouble getting in, though it's a rather rustic drive. Once you get in, it's worth it. Only 15 amps, so if you NEED your AC going 24/7 or have lots of gadgets that need to run, you may have issues. We had perfect weather and we made it work. I already miss it. So does our dog! We will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous property Christa.

Heaven

This place is beyond words. Definitely a little piece of heaven. We would have stayed forever if we could. Christa is amazing! Bring your bug spray, dusk and dawn they come out in swarms, which was totally expected being that close to the water! If you are in the area or want a private spot close to a few beach’s and Charleston, you have to stay here!

What a lovely spot to stay in! We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding on a nearby island. My son and grandson loved the pool and had plenty of room for sports. I couldn’t get over the views! Water and electric allowed us to keep our camper cool at night and use all the amenities. If we ever move to SC, the sanctuary is exactly what we will try to find.

Truly a sanctuary

Christa is an awesome host. She met me as I drove in and immediately started helping with water and power hookups. She has a terrific piece of property. Extremely quiet and no traffic. She lives along an estuary which I have never experienced so closely. It was interesting to hear the water gurgle in and out with the tide. She was very accommodating to my nudist lifestyle with the pool. I highly recommend this camp site

Sanctuary

We had a great time at the aptly named Sanctuary. Our six year old lived in the pool and had a blast playing with Tater (the dog). There are great hammock trees overlooking the tidal creek where we napped and watched the wildlife. While it is a bit of a drive into Charleston, it is roughly in the middle of Charleston, Folly, and Edisto making it perfect if you are planning to visit each (which you should). There was plenty of room to maneuver our 20 foot trailer with plenty level ground. Christa is very kind and attentive, a great host!
