Herd It Here Farm is a unique agritourism destination that provides enjoyable and educational experiences for visitors of all ages. Get ready to be immersed in our farm culture! Learn about our fabulous alpacas and feel their amazing fleece. You'll also get up close and personal with our silkie and Polish chickens, the fainting and pygmy goats, Eddie the mini donkey, Tilly the mini pony and the big guy, our rescue horse, Cherokee. Visit our Country Store for an opportunity to purchase beautiful alpaca fleece clothing - scarves, hats, and gloves as well as felted items, toys, souvenirs, and local artisan goods. We're only 45 minutes from historic Charleston and even closer to beautiful "Plantation Row". Come visit us! Please plan your trip to arrive before dark. Once we put the animals to bed, we are done for the day...

Site 4 - Alpaca Farm Camping!
Herd It Here is an awesome camping experience. Melissa went out of her way to greet us, get us settled, and then toured us around the farm. She answers all our questions about the animals and never made us feel rushed or like we were inconveniencing her, even though it was Easter weekend. Such a genuinely nice person and a wonderful host. I give the experience a 10 out of 10 for sure!

Favorite hip camp so far! Melissa was very nice and helpful. She gave us a tour of the farm and introduced us to all of the animals. Loved it! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at Herd it Here Barn! The animals were so sweet and fun to be around. Melissa was absolutely amazing and did such a good job making us feel cozy in our surroundings. You can tell she really loves that place and those animals! Definitely a fun and cute place to stay!

The host are more than accommodating and love sharing their knowledge about the animals on the farm with you. This is a definite must for a family stay. My kids loved all the animals and getting to go around with the hosts and feed the animals and pet them all. Would 110% recommend!!!

A great place to stay the night amongst the free roaming horses donkey in mini ponies! The alpacas are adorable and magnificent! There is a great farm store selling alpaca related items! Bill was very gracious and you can tell these animals are a labor of love. They are so well taken care of and their houses are immaculate! I would highly recommend

Alpaca Farm Camping!
This place is amazing! Bill and Cheryl were so nice and welcoming, I was given a tour of the whole farm and learned so much, and even got to bottle feed Maggie the calf. Eddie (donkey), Tilly (pony) and Cherokee (horse) were the perfect pasture hosts while I camped, coming around to say hi often. I was free to walk around and visit all the animals, even spending time sitting down with the goats and giving plenty of scratches. The evening was quiet and very comfortable for camping. This was such a cool place, definitely recommend and will come back when I’m in the area. Thank you for an amazing stay!!!

Alpaca Farm Camping!
We loved everything about Bill’s farm, especially Eddie, the Donkey. What a great place to spend a few nights visiting with the animals and learning from the very knowledgeable and friendly owner Bill. We often were visited in our campsite by the mini horse, Eddie the donkey, and Cherokee the horse, all sweet and sassy. This is a fabulous place to camp with kids or anyone wanting to relax in a shady pasture and enjoy hanging with the animals. Loved it and highly recommend.

Alpaca Farm Camping!
Bill was a great host. Kids (and adults) loved feeding and petting animals. We also enjoyed ending the night sharing stories over a bonfire with the other campers. We’d definitely stay again.

Alpaca Farm Camping!
Bill was very friendly and accommodating. His knowledge of the animals is very interesting. We enjoyed camping amongst the horses and donkey. We will definitely return.

Great spot! Nothing but good things to say about Bill and his very eclectic farm. Easy to enter and park an RV. Very peaceful. Loved the communal fire pit. Really enjoyed the tour of the farm and friendly animals. If you’re contemplating visiting the answer is yes. Make this a stop on your list

Alpaca Farm Camping!
Bill and Sheryl are phenomenal individuals and have put a great amount of attention and effort into Herd It Here. We really enjoyed being able to camp up close to the animals, as well as feed them, and learn about them. We would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking to get out of the typical campground experience and learn a few things along the way. Can’t wait to return and see what else Bill has up his sleeve.

Alpaca Farm Camping!
This place was awesome!! Bill was a great host, and tour guide for the farm. Our kids loved seeing all the animals and taking pictures. We even got to have a fire with s’mores. We definitely would come back if in area.
