We had such a wonderful experience, it’s quite the oasis. Beautiful views with the perfect blend of beachy marsh, forest, and farm. Secluded enough to feel detached from society while also being conveniently located to plenty of stores including an adorable farmers market.
We couldn’t have been more pleased and plan to make this a regular occurrence. Thank you so much to Linda and everyone else who tends the property! :)

I absolutely loved staying here! The views were breathtaking! It was in a safe area and it was so
cool to wake-up to farm animals out the window. The host was also very kind. We will definitely be back.

The campground was good to find - thanks to my nav system. Twice I was wondering if I am right but once I passed the gate there were multiple signs for camp so then it was all clear.
Very spacious camp sites. Very quiet except the son d of practice shooting nearby, nothing too worrisome.
I think I’ll come back with the whole family next time!

I took my daughter and her friend tent camping at Hanscombe Point and it was abeautiful place. It did storm while we were there, but it made fir a memorable time. The girls really enjoyed visiting with the donkeys that showed up to our site the next morning. Both of them were the sweetest animals.

Linda the host was very nice and responsive. The farm and sites were fantastic. I arrived on Thursday with 2 other campers. It was very nice and peaceful. On Friday night it got quite crowded which is to be expected. In the Hipcamp description she says this is not a place for locals to go to party. Well I can’t say they were locals but one group was playing music(live I believe) and I must say I enjoyed it. Then around 130am a guy from that group started just revving his car engine. I was in a trailer so it wasn’t as bad but people in tents must’ve heard it. I’m older 64 so please take this as it’s meant. Younger campers might have not minded . I hate giving mixed reviews but if you’re looking for serenity I’m not sure this will work for you. I’m behind as honest as possible

Not much “hosting” done. A group arrived at 2:30am and partied all night. Party at the front of the property played music into the night as well. Never heard anything from my host aside from an automated message. But, a nice spot in the woods and with some critters, just not sure I can recommend others to get a good night’s rest here when you’re kind of left on your own.

Easy in and out. Was quiet and a pretty morning. Got in late after coming earlier in day to secure a site near the water. Not a place with immense creature comforts, but affordable and easy to work with. Also 30 min from beach… 25 from downtown.

This place is incredible. If you are a comfortable primitive camper and you love natural beauty, book here immediately. In the two days I spent camping here, I spent hours watching the sun rise over the tidal creeks and the golden marsh grass. I watched hundreds of crabs feeding in the pluff mud before the tide came in. I watched cattle graze on a great open pasture. I’ve camped in some pretty breathtaking places and this was up there with the best. The campground feels remote but Charleston and other barrier islands d destinations are very accessible. Check in couldn’t be easier, firewood was abundant, and I was left alone for two days. I’d come back here in a heartbeat. In fact, I think I will.

Need to put mothballs in and around outhouse and PORTIJOHNS because there were 3 huge snakes in em. They took portijohn out first day, so then it was just a (hell no) outhouse with a snake in it too. It's in a cow field, which was beautiful and expansive but no fences between campers and cows..I ride a motorcycle and those bulls scared the poo outta me. I asked a lady on a tractor if she could shoo a big cow with horns (and a calf) out of the driveway, she said it wouldn't do anything and I DID NOT want to drive past it bc calf, horns...then she went on how she's been here 20 years and blah blah smart mouth stuff. Seeing how it was the only way in and out I had my daughter in a car get in between me and cow. There's no water and no access to water except salt water marsh on one side. I hate to give a bad review but it was not a good time at all.

Great, secluded spot. Good clean outhouse. It is primitive, so no running water, which is definitely not a problem ifyou come prepared. The road to the sites is fine, but you will be better suited in an SUV than a sedan/coup. We went while it was raining, and I don't think I would have made it in my Honda. Luckily, we didn't have it!!!
Anyway, beautiful spot. The birds are awesome in the morning. Good communication from the host.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. It was close to Charleston and on a very pretty farm. Other than some very noisy neighbors at 5 am, our stay was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Great site in a beautiful place close to Charleston and Folly beach. Plenty to do within just minutes as well. There was some broken glass scattered around the site and the sites were a little close together for my personal liking but it was great! Loved everything about our weekend

The setting was quiet and beautiful. Tidal marsh on one side and pasture on the other. Cows came strolling by shortly after sunrise and 2 VERY friendly donkeys stopped by for pets. A peaceful retreat. Thank you for sharing.

This is such a lovely place to camp. We were on the edge of the estuary and saw many species of birds. We had shade and dappled sun making it perfect for relaxing in our spot. The sites were well separated. We’d love to go back someday!!

Great spot to stay for a quick trip to Charleston, the sights are kinda hard to see at night. Waking up to cows was super exciting but we didn’t see the Water buffalo😞

A great stop for a few days on a pretty farm. Shaded. Verizon and TMobile were fine for our cells but we used our starlink for work hours, which worked just fine. No one bothers you lol. Great stay and half the cost of parking our rig closer to Charleston center. 10 minutes from one of the nicer Walmarts we’ve been too. Thanks!

Really good location if you’re looking for a base camp away from the crowds but close enough to explore each day. Campsite are fairly well spaced, with a good choice of either shade or sun.
