If only there were room, I’d leave a review for every detail. Cynthia’s property is gorgeous and the camping site was isolated enough that we truly felt like we were camping in the woods which is exactly what we’d hoped for. Our Hostess was MORE than accommodating and even gave us an educational tour of Eden Farms. We saw baby ducks and chickens and even some baby peacocks! We saw the full grown peacocks too and they were magnificent. Yes, the rooster crows, and yes Elvis the peacock very proudly sang his tunes, but we were so happy just to enjoy the nature and the whole rest of the experience that hearing a few birds just made it feel that much more real. To top off the experience, we took home some eggs and honey fresh from the farm. It truly was magical. If you’re looking for a good, salt of the Earth experience, you HAVE to see this place! Also, if you’re interested in homesteading, Cynthia has SO many tips and tricks and the ingenuity of Eden Farms is 💯 worth learning about. I seriously cannot wait to visit again. Thank you Cynthia! ♥️

Edenhope Farm worked out great for us in our small teardrop camper. We loved the quiet woods that surrounded us and the sounds of the birds-both wild and domestic! Cynthia was a very good host. The swimming pool was a big plus. The outdoor shower is ready for some new plumbing fixtures but we managed. I would be happy to return someday.

Nice camp spot with great accommodations for an overnight tent camp, easy to get to and close to town. Spotted a deer during the morning and had a grey cat visit us at night and the morning for some visitor cuddles and pets.

Overall we had a good experience. The spot was very cute and cozy however it was not as clean as we would have hoped and we did not get the spot we reserved. To be fair, the spot we received was a slight upgrade ($5 more on Hipcamp) and was more spacious so we appreciated that part of it.
We paid for a tour of the farm to meet the animals, however it was not offered when we arrived and we could not find the host in the morning before we left so we never received the tour. The animals and garden area looked very cool and we were really looking forward to seeing it up close.

Host was very nice but she should not advertise on the website that there is water hookup when there is none or tell the people in advance to bring an extremely long hose since the only hookup is the spicket at the house and not at the actual site. Also when it is extremely hot out I would not advise telling the campers to leave the a/c off, I did not mind having it off when I was not there but if we were paying $70 per night that was not acceptable. Could have stayed at a KOA cheaper and not have been asked to turn the a/c off. I think these sites were more for tents not for campers.

We enjoyed our stay, the host was very nice and the shower was so deliciously HOT! The sites could use updating and cleaning, it just looks like it hasn’t been kept up. We picked the one site farthest from the house so we didn’t have old furniture around. You need to aware that it’s noisy at night, geese, ducks and peacocks talk and scream back and forth all night long. If you’re a farm girl, like me, it’s ok. The bathroom was clean and the covered porch and Wi-Fi came in handy the day it rained. Overall, it was a good stay, it would just be better with a good cleaning and some upkeep.

The campsite itself is cute and has a lot of cool little features. The toilets at the pool house on the other hand were too dirty and seemed more like a storage closet. The host is nice and helpfulut it's just a bit too expensive for what you get.

Lovely quiet setting. Cynthia kindly greeted us and showed us the property. Her well trained dog Milos came along. We saw the bull, chickens and peacock. Fun stop!

I was a fan of the rural setting and the new comfy mattresses. I was disappointed in how run down everything was, that the small heater didn’t provide enough heat, and that the shared kitchen was so dirty I wouldn’t use it. I also didn’t have the talked about welcome tray or towels in the yurt. This would be perfect for camping due to its private nature.

Very responsive , very accommodating . I liked that the sites are so close to the house because we were able to use wifi to stream and I liked the fact that it did have a bathroom , which w most hipcamp , this is not an option. , the ability to plug in to a 110 was a game changer as it was cold so the space heater made us toasty.
Proximity to Beaufort was awesome as we could swing into town for a quick breakfast as well as the touristy events amd carriage rides. It is important to know that the site is very close to her main house , but that also made it close to the aforementioned. Pool would’ve been a nice amenity had the weather been warm but we do not camp in the heat …..all in all , we enjoyed our weekend and we enjoyed our hosts responsiveness as well as her respect for our privacy. Milos , her dog , is awesome and my daughter would’ve taken him home in a heartbeat.
We would definitely stay w Cynthia again.

Camping here in our converted van was a delight! Great camping area, electric hookup and clean bathroom available. Wished it was a little warmer so we could have took a dip in the pool!

Very kind and helpful hostess. Cindy was very responsive to any and all questions. Eggs and honey were fantastic for breakfast & animals were delightful! Bonus: She set us up with a great fishing guide. Close to everything we wanted to do…explore and canoe on Hunting Island, picked up fish and shrimp from Gays to cook over fire, and fishing the next day off Port Royal. Perfect!!

Had a great time staying here! It was nice to watch all of the animals and to just relax. Cynthia was a great host and made sure that we was comfortable and happy. 10/10 would recommend staying on her land!

We loved camping in our travel trailer at Cynthia's farm! We loved the access to the swimming pool & toilet. The farm animals were fun to watch, too. We are only 10 minutes from downtown Beaufort, which has a lovely small-town vibe, with lots of cool antique stores and restaurants.

Unfortunately the place looks as though it has been neglected, and the website pictures don't show the current state. We also didn't realize we would be in literally the host's back yard. Cindy, the host, was very gracious (she loaned us a set of sheets) and apologetic for some of the issues - a "mud" pond that was supposed to be worked on and furniture that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in while (there was a thunderstorm earlier in the day, but things looked like they'd been sitting for weeks). We were told we'd have a outdoor shower, but the shower stall was ripped and faded, and the shower bag had moldy water in it. The refrigerator we were allowed to use looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while and was pretty old and rusty. The pool was also not ready for us, even though we arrived later in the day. And we were going to have to wait until the pool person came back to retest the following day. Overall, the place was just pretty depressing. We gave it our best shot for one night but woke up realizing we could do better. We did politely ask Cindy if she might refund us for the other nights, but she declined. Not wanting to put any negative energy out there, we held off writing this review, instead wanting to give her the chance to apologize and/or make amends somehow but she didn't. Instead she got defensive and told us to "have a blessed week" or "day". Oh well....

Cynthia was very on point and we enjoyed our visit. The facilities are well kept and the animals are fun! The location is perfect for visiting local attractions. Maybe bring ear plugs if you are camping because the peacocks, rooster and geese can get pretty rowdy early in the morning.
Overall we loved our stay and experience! Thank you Cynthia!

This was a great location. The male peacock kept me up the first night but after that he seemed to get used to us being there and was silent. We loved the privacy of the property.

Cindy was a great host! Beautiful, well equipped site and property with plenty of camping options between multiple glamping tents and private sections of the property for tent camping. From many friendly ducks, peacocks and chickens roaming the property to a goat and bull holding residence, this site is a must for animal lovers visiting the Beaufort area!

Cindy and her property were amazing. We had a bad experience in our prior spot so we decided to see if we could go to Eden hope 3 days earlier!
Ended up there almost a week!
Because of our late arrival and been a little tight to get our trailer in at night, Cindy suggested we go to her Moms place down the road which worked out perfectly!!
Would encourage anyone that is looking for amazing southern hospitality and a great spot. 10 min to Beaufort and many island and beaches within 15-20 minute!
Don’t hesitate, book it now!
